LJD RC's 10.3 Gladiator

Thanks for posting about those Injora wheels. I've been looking for an inexpensive wheelset for my Miller Motorsports truck, and will probably score a set of those.

Go for it man! They're super nice, they feel more like a set of $50-$60 wheels rather than $36. The only complaint I have is the shipping time. They ship straight from China, and it took a little over 2 weeks to arrive. They did get here eventually though, and nothing appeared to be damaged or tampered with. Best $36 I've ever spent.

Took it out for a test run at one of the local state parks with my parents, and it performed extremely well. I probably oughta mess with the suspension links a bit more, since I can definitely tell that they're still off by a bit. Other than that, it was definitely a fun day.

I've got a new brushless system coming in for it soon, I'm definitely excited for it. I've never actually had a brushless truck before, so I'm very interested to see how different it is from the normal brushed motor/ESC that comes in these. I will say that I'll be putting this truck (and all of my other projects) on hold after this comes in, as I've got other priorities I should probably be focusing on (I'll be getting my license soon and should probably save for a real truck instead of putting everything into my tiny trucks, lol). I miiight go for some new steel high clearance suspension links though... (I'm so tired of aluminum, I've got half a million metallic specks in each of my hands from handling the links from this truck to paint them).

I finally took it out for a spin, and good lord this thing rips. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect a brushless truck to move this fast. Does wheelies on 2s, and drags the rear bumper for 2 seconds on 3s. It does crawl really nice in low gear though, a lot better than it did. I just need to pick up a programmer to put a drag brake on it and it should be good to go. Maybe I should do the brushless conversion on some of my other trucks too... (this is my first brushless if it wasn't obvious lol).
