Limiting straps Info

Depends what you're doing with them I guess. You can use them to limit suspension droop by using them at the ends of the axle, or use a single strap in the center to limit down travel and ride height for a low cog. A center strap will cause the tire opposite of the one drooping to travel upwards which may cause loss of traction. These are all things that can be taken care of with proper suspension geometry and set up, making limiting straps unnecessary.

I use linit chains on one of my comp rigs since a tumble down a 15 ft rock face ripped a shock apart.

the chain draw tight just shy of maximum extension so I don't have to worry about too much breakage.
