That might be true.Well, every job has it cost. I bet he can come up with alternative if needed.
I'm ready to buy a lathe and start trying to sell them myself. Need to see how strong mine turned out first. Had a couple other ideas I'm thinking of giving a try to use axial unis with no welding.
Erik straight said no to me but I'm also not a huge customer or friend of his lol. So its understandable.

So there are two connectors on this servo. Stoopid question .. one connector plugs into your receiver like on all servos obviously .. what does that second connector plug into?

So for instance my battery has one Deans connector on it .. it plugs into the Deans on the two leads coming from my ESC .. so the only way I see of powering the servo on my rig is to cut the connector off the servos power leads, and solder each lead onto the Deans plug along with the ESC's leads so they both share power from the same battery, or is my brain just mushier than I thought lol :shock:

Time to let you guys know how the first comp went with this rig!
There was record participation in Finnish RC Crawling Series season opener in the capital, Helsinki. 16 Mod rigs registered! :shock::shock:"thumbsup"
Here you can see how Finland is infected with SuDuism! 8) Total of five SuDu MOD 3D's and two SuDu Pro's on the line.
Comp site had a lot to offer too! 8)

Few photos from course three of the day:
Sofi drove the whole day without problems. Rig is working really good apart from maybe too soft rear springs. Medium springs are already ordered. Sofi is happy with the rig, but needs more training to get used to much heavier rig than her previous one was.
First two courses were really tough especially second. Only two drivers were able to finish it. Sofi finished courses three and four, but better performances are needed if she wants to fight top 15 spot in the Nordics after just couple of weeks. You never know. "thumbsup"

Here are the results and as you can see, Sofi can be found from 9th position. It's pretty good for a rig with two batteries of training since Worlds. "thumbsup"
Next competition is The Nordics in Finland after just couple of weeks. I hope Sofi can make a good showing in there and get more used to the Bully 2/SuDu combination. Should be good times. "thumbsup"

I'm sitting here studying your build again. It looks like you vent your tires by punching your vent holes on the inside sidewalls correct? How many holes per tire, and I assume 2mm holes? Thanks man .. great thread "thumbsup"
P.S. In your list you mention Turnagy 3s 850mah batteries, do you compete with those, or are they just for practice?

It's better to vent them on top of the tire. 4 2,5mm holes. "thumbsup"
I do use them in comps. Two courses per battery. "thumbsup"

So do you use the 850mah batteries simply for the longer run times, or does the heavier weight come into play for balance, etc? P.S. little off topic, hows the 1:1 rock crawling scene there in Finland?

I tendt to run out of 450mAh batteries last season in long courses (might have been cause of shitty batteries), so I thought to try out 850's. They give a nice extra balance to front axle and even more exploading power when needed. For me this is the way I run it now. "thumbsup"
There is no Rock Crawling scene on Finland as such, but they are driving 1/1 trial few comps in a year. Basically the same as rock crawling, but the terrain can be nearly anything. "thumbsup"

When you compete in these competitions is there purse money involved for the winners? And is there such a thing as pro drivers in the comp crawler world, who get compensated for their driving and endorsments?

I dont think you have 100% pro driver in rc crawling but some guys do have sponsors

That makes sense, even in 1:1 very few do it as a full time gig in the US. Wasn't sure about Europe though.

He's running ultra soft. If you look closely, the ultra soft have a white piece of wire shielding.
