Letter to Obama

This is who we need:mrgreen:

Regan.jpg

Ummm he's dead.

His morals, personally aren't perfect. He was a well known playboy and an adulterer.

He had some good political ideas and some not so good. There's never been and never will be a perfect president.

Ummm he's dead.
No shit?!?!?! Thanks for pointing out the obvious:roll:

His morals, personally aren't perfect. He was a well known playboy and an adulterer.
Really? All that while he was president? Well damn.... Maybe we can get lucky and put Clinton back into office"thumbsup"

He had some good political ideas and some not so good. There's never been and never will be a perfect president.
His political ideas are/were a hell of a lot better than what I see now"thumbsup"
I will agree with you, though... There never will be a perfect president... The current puppet proves that point

Bush did NUMEROUS things he should have been impeached for. Bush alone drove this country into the ground. Obama's been in the office less than a year. Really is that long enough to make a judgement call on the guy who is coming in after 8 years worth of **** ups and making our country hated??

If Bush had committed so many impeachable offences being as hated as Bush was by the minority left wing loons like yourself, you would think that the liberals in Congress and the idiots in the main stream media would have lined up 3 deep to start the Impeachment process?

Again, if you would pay attention, you would see that Obama has done more to damage our nation in 8 months that Bush did in 8 years! All you Liberals do is blame Bush! I'm so tired of hearing it's Bush's fault, it's been over a year since Obama was elected, in that time, your "Messiah" has quadrupled the national debt and shows no sign of slowing down! He is going to bankrupt our nation!

Dez have you ever been to another country? Like over seas? People compare Bush to Hitler, and would like nothing more than to see him beheaded. Over seas I have met NOONE over seas who didnt bring up Bush and what a idiot he is. He brought a HUGE arrogance to our country while out country was rotting from the inside out. And ALL of this is suppose to be fixed in less than a year in your eyes??? Bush was in office for 2 reasons and two reasons alone. #1 to make daddy proud. #2 go for oil since it lines his own pockets. Hurricane Katrina is a perfect example of his "caring-ness" for our country.

I haven't been overseas and to be very frank, I could give a flying fawk what the ungrateful, socialist, sheep in Europe think! We pulled their asses out of the fire twice last century, we have provided the majority of their defence for 60+ years and all it has done is turn them into spineless, entitlement drunk, cowards w/ no sense of the dept they owe the US!

As hated as Bush was and how bad our image was, how much better is the US image now that Obama has traveled the world, badmouthing, apologized for, and embarrassing our nation? Kissing the ass of every 2 bit dictator in central and South America, bowing to foreign kings and never once exalting the greatness of the our Nation! He makes me want to vomit!

Really do you want to get into Republican/Democrat debate at the times were in?? Yeah I admit both have messed up (Im not here to say ones better than the other), but with what we are dealing with today in the middle east is hardly anything the democrats have done. Who funded BinLaden's organization? Who sold them guns?? Who helped them train? It wasnt Bill Clinton. Shit went all the way back to Reagan.

If I'm correct, the Democratic party have been the majority party in Congress for the vast majority of the last 40 years and they ultimately control the money plain and simple. As for funding of the Afghan rebels, it pre-dates Reagan and goes back to the Carter(D) Administration, so once again your wrong.

Again, I dont agree with everyone Obama may have said or done. But getting Bush OUT of the whitehouse was the best thing that happened to this country in the last almost 9 years now.

I did not agree w/ much of what Bush did as President, he did not follow the Conservative model in so far as his fiscal policies were concerned, but when you look at the divisiveness that Obama has created, the damage his policies have inflicted to our economy, and the quadrupling of the national debt I'll repeat that, HE has quadrupled the national dept in under a year! Obama will with out a doubt be rated as the worst President in history.

I can remember all of the dumb ass's standing on the corner protesting the war because it was costing us to much, were are these clueless morons now that Obama has put my grandchildren in debt? Were are they now?

Hope....Change....., please!

I know buddy,lol.
I say Jesse Ventura or Ted Nuggent needs to run for office, but I dont think they want anyone hating them because the shits too deep!

Speaking of celebrity politicians, since Obama doesn't have a birth certificate and he is President.. Doesn't this mean Schwarzenegger can run for it?

If I'm correct, the Democratic party have been the majority party in Congress for the vast majority of the last 40 years and they ultimately control the money plain and simple. As for funding of the Afghan rebels, it pre-dates Reagan and goes back to the Carter(D) Administration, so once again your wrong.

Obama will without a doubt be the last US President in history.

Speaking of Osama Bin Laden, if Clinton would have whacked in him in the first place when he had the chance, the Afghanistan Witchhunt would have never taken place.

I have a feeling the US will no longer be around in the future. :|

I can remember all of the dumb ass's standing on the corner protesting the war because it was costing us to much, were are these clueless morons now that Obama has put my grandchildren in debt? Were are they now?

On welfare duh. What kinda of a leader blows money on 2 wars when he should be wasting it on leaching bums! The horror!

To many people have your POV, it's time to start caring!

Taking the freedoms, liberties, and rights we have for granted is a sure fire way to lose them.

im glad i have the freedoms i have and the rights,
and also the responsibility that comes with those rights.
but honestly i have enough things to lose sleep over,
i didnt say i dont care, im not interested in alot of it.

what i think doesnt really matter anyway, that was my point,
and im not interested. my opinion on politics to the world is about
as valuable as a pair of soiled undies.

i just appreciate the way things are now and am hoping i dont
see too many things get screwed up by white shirt fatcats.

it's been over a year since Obama was elected, in that time, your "Messiah" has quadrupled the national debt and shows no sign of slowing down! He is going to bankrupt our nation!

Sorry buddy, your facts are WRONG.

Debt as of 11/4/2008 (election day): $10,566,146,196,490.58
Debt as of 11/4/2009: $11,978,953,722,825.90
See for yourself, from the Treasury itself, not your Faux News.

That's not even close to double, let alone your claim of quadruple.

Bush's is clearly worse (obviously over a longer time), but his is actually just shy of DOUBLE, actual numbers.
January 19, 2001: $5,727,776,738,304.64
January 20, 2009: $10,626,877,048,913.08

I haven't been overseas and to be very frank, I could give a flying fawk what the ungrateful, socialist, sheep in Europe think! We pulled their asses out of the fire twice last century, we have provided the majority of their defence for 60+ years and all it has done is turn them into spineless, entitlement drunk, cowards w/ no sense of the dept they owe the US!

Right now we need these other countries, since we have no money. Without them we'd be screwed because of of society and the materialistic actions of many here. You could learn a lot speaking to a citizen of many other countries. Blinded by the US nationalism isn't a cure, its a disease.

bowing to foreign kings

Bush held hands with a man who contributed to funding the Taliban. It makes your argument no better.

If I'm correct, the Democratic party have been the majority party in Congress for the vast majority of the last 40

The Democratic Party maintained control of the House from 1954 until 1995.
The senate has been back and forth in the same time. Typically closer to a 50-50 split over the same time period with control spikes both ways.

Seriously?

That statement applies to just about EVERY president in history....hell, probably every politician.

That's my point, I didn't claim morals. Presidents need political policies that work...their morals are garbage.

Sorry buddy, your facts are WRONG.

Your right my friend, I misspoke.

He quadrupled the deficit (2009 Budget Deficit) and will "only" double the national debt (Collective Budget Deficits) in under a year.

With the economy performing worse than hoped, revised White House figures point to deepening budget deficits, with the government borrowing almost 50 cents for every dollar it spends this year. The deficit for the current budget year will rise by $89 billion to above $1.8 trillion—about four times the record set just last year.

The unprecedented red ink flows from the deep recession, the Wall Street bailout, the cost of President Barack Obama's economic stimulus bill, as well as a structural imbalance between what the government spends and what it takes in. As the economy performs worse than expected, the deficit for the 2010 budget year beginning in October will worsen by $87 billion to $1.3 trillion, the White House says.

The deterioration also reflects lower tax revenues and higher costs for bank failures, unemployment benefits, and food stamps.

Right now we need these other countries, since we have no money. Without them we'd be screwed because of of society and the materialistic actions of many here. You could learn a lot speaking to a citizen of many other countries. Blinded by the US nationalism isn't a cure, its a disease.

We only "need" them if we were to continue on Obama's path of insane socialist policies . Most of the countries we "need" already follow this path, we do not need to follow their lead because Government is not the answer! We need to get back to doing what we as Americans do best! Lower taxes, and let capitalism do it's thing! When another nation has done what we have done as successfully as we have, I'll take their ideas into consideration.

Like I said, the Dems held the majority in Congress for a significantly longer time frame. They were in charge of the money plain and simple.

Deficit spending is actually a common occurrence that WILL happen when an economy is in recession because a deficit is annual additions to national debt.

Take a look at this:
National-Debt-GDP-L.gif

Notice the large run up in debt starting in 1942? These are the result of huge budget deficits that where used to pump money into a then failing economy which is essentially what's happening at this very moment.

Additionally let's look at what Bush did with the National Deficit counting his borrowing from Social Security:

Here's another graph that's got all sorts of fancy figures for you to think about ...

I'm guessing you're getting your information from Heritage.org???

I think that if you add this,or take away that.you can get your numbers where you want them.but should I trust the numbers?
I trust history. my father was in concrete, under carter was like living in poverty.I remeber those times, under reagan he bought his first new truck and then a new jeep.I remember those times aswell.
we went on our first vacation and other weekend trips.I started working when reagan was in office. I was 12y.o. and earning 6.50 hr.
by time I was 16 I was working fulltime. under bush sr. I was earing 9.00hr
and then came clinton. the eight years clinton was in office I got ONE dollar. thats it,when bush got it in 2000 I was a forman earning 10.00 hr.
in his first year I went up to 1,000 a week salary.
even with 9-11 and the damage it did to our economy. his tax cuts made it possible for a construction worker to start his own company and thrive.
in 2004 I went out on my own and its been good.
I would be willing to bet.that my net. each year drops.untill the republicans have the whitehouse and senate.

I dont trust democrats.
not with my costitution
not with my money
not with my health
not with my country

Oooooooh look, pretty colors. Did you get off P~MSNBC?

Well gosh, now that Obama is "pumping" all of this money into the economy in the massive amounts that he has w/ the Omnibus, Stimulus, ect..., the economy should be whizzing right along, unemployment should be dropping, and w/ the huge economic boost to the private sector, the government should be swimming w/ tax dollars right?

Hmmmmmm? Somethings not right?

Got to love the progressive liberal left. Heck w/ any luck, we can join the EU in a year or so as the Socialist States of Amerika. According to Democratic big wigs like Howard Dean(I sure you college boys are big fans), the discussion is over.

BTW college boy, how's that "Hope and Change" working out for ya?

Go Team."thumbsup"

I'm going to try to shift through this shit Dez, but it runs deep, real deep.

Nagh, I wouldn't do that to you the image actually has the source right down in the bottom right corner.

Do I know if it will work? Nope, my Cousin a CFO for a large real-estate corporation and he thinks it's the only thing keeping his company alive right now. His wife negotiates contracts between the fed, and various large banks and it honestly scares the shit out of her.

My post merely implies that there's a theory behind running a deficit during a recession in the hopes of a recovery. Most countries the world over, including our own seem to think the same way and run a surplus during times of prosperity and a deficit when things get rough. Will inflation happen? Yep, is it going to suck getting out of the debt you build up in the process? Yep, but it's one of the few options you do have.

I'm the "boy" here? :|

Again, I'm supporter of Ron Paul on a lot of things, you should probably wikipedia that guy. I also disagree with Obama on a lot of things, but you'll never know that because you've lost the capacity to read.

The numbers agree with you, and what I'm trying to say. Look at where the red is, and where you say that things where going well for you, they where all during times of heavy government spending and tax cuts. :|

But hey, I'm just a dumbass college "boy", what the hell do I know anyway...

He quadrupled the deficit (2009 Budget Deficit) and will "only" double the national debt (Collective Budget Deficits) in under a year.

While Obama's planned budgetary spending is going up, the problem is the revunue from tax will be going down due to the amount of unemployment. So it's not just the spending, it also lies in how poor the economy is currently.

The unprecedented red ink flows from the deep recession, the Wall Street bailout, the cost of President Barack Obama's economic stimulus bill, as well as a structural imbalance between what the government spends and what it takes in.

TARP was Bush's baby...how'd the American public like that? While Obama's Stimulus put money into the hands of citizens...most people liked that.

Again the revenue from taxes is cut from the unemployment problem we are facing. If less people work, unemployment pays more out and receives in less tax revenues.

We only "need" them if we were to continue on Obama's path of insane socialist policies.

You think this investment in the US by foreign countries just started? The boom of this was during the Reagan years. They seen a way to profit from our materialistic society through investing and manufacturing.

Right now if China and Japan both requested all the money we owed them...our country would likely become anarchistic since we've all been raised as materialistic credit mongers.

Come on bud, now your reaching.

I wish I was. This is Bush and Prince Abdullah:
bush-abdullah-holding-hands.jpg

Story about Abdullah's support for bin Laden:
According to sources, the situation regarding bin Laden crystallized after his camp in Afghanistan was bombed by US cruise missiles in August 1998 in retaliation for the embassy attacks in Africa. Bin Laden escaped injury after apparently changing his dinner plans at the last minute, but the incident sent shockwaves through international Islamic movements in which bin Laden has a strong following.

As a result, a very strong Muslim lobby emerged to protect his interests. This includes Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah, as well as senior Pakistani generals. Prince Abdullah has good relations with bin Laden as both are disciples of slain Doctor Abdullah Azzam, a Palestinian scholar and former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Organization.

I dont trust democrats.

I feel the same about religious republicans. To be honest I don't trust the majority of the politicians in my state and federal government. I only get 2 choices, a dem or rep and both aren't even worthy candidates most of the time.

In response to some earlier posts:

Who gives a crap what its like in other countries! If you think things are better there - please leave and be a socialist somewhere else!

Why are you so worried what other countries think of us and our president? They dont have to live here! So why base an opinion on those who live in seriously messed up countries? I guess you probably agree with Chavez, and Ahmadinejad.

If this country was not here, the world would have fallen into Nazi darkness in the 20th century.
This country has done more positive things than all other countries put together, plus the God forsaken U.N. - better known as the United Abominations!

BTW - being a governor does give you executive office experience. The governor is the executive leader of a state, just as the president is the executive leader of the country. Please, dont vote.

Dave Mustaine puts it very well (for those of you who are concerned with world opinion, these are the people you want to please!). Dont believe this is true - start reading and find out what really goes on in that building!

Within striking distance from Ground Zero sits a smoldering
International cauldron, the "United Abominations" as it were
Born to prevent wars, it froze in the face of disaster and
Stood silent while terrorization took hostage the world
In a mire of hypocrisy, the UN ignores sex crimes by its
"blue-helmets", and enables terrorism; so that in the end it's failed
And the UN is where our so-called "friends" get to stab us
In the back, and we pay 22% of their tab to host our enemies
Here at home. Ambassadors from countries, otherwise known
As a catastrophe, enjoy diplomatic immunity living in
Manhattan, while their children are turned into prostitutes
It's a complete and utter disgrace, a blot on the face of
Humanity, and they get away with it.

Poverty in their kitchens, held hostage by oil-for-food
Yet their own plates are full off the fat of their lands
There's no blood on their hands, right Kojo?
They promised to tell the truth, without leaving a fingerprint
They will lose the UN one way or another
The victim, I fear will be us, sisters and brothers

The UN is right; you can't be any more "un"
Than you are right now, the UN is undone
Another mushroom cloud, another smoking gun
The threat is real, the Locust King has come
Don't tell me the truth; I don't like what they've done
Its payback time at the United Abominations

A grave and gathering danger, the decision to attack
Based on secret intelligence it'll take years
I fear to undo the failings in Iraq, Iran, and Korea
You may bury the bodies, but you can't bury the crimes
Only fools stand up and really lay down their arms
No, not me, not when death lasts forever

Man: The UN writes resolution upon resolution.
We really need a new world order.
Woman: There is no order order. I don't believe it
I don't even listen to the talk of this new world order.
Man: They'll never do anything.

NATO invaded Yugoslavia to end ethnic cleansing
There was no UN
The U.S. invaded Afghanistan after 9/11
There was no UN
Saddam Hussein violated 17 UN resolutions
The U.N. was
Asked to join the war in Iraq: The US invaded
There was no U.N.
Libya bombed a discotheque in Berlin killing Americans
There was no U.N.
And Iran funds Hamas and attacked the US in the seventies
There was no UN
Facing War without end, looking into the future
There was no more UN
