I don't think they make a hardened metric pinion. Just watch the wear over time. I ended up going with associated after I ate up a pinion in a dozen packs.

Kind of miss the ol Grunt! It was one of if not the first rig to run the "giant" 2.2 tires in competition. Now they are the standard. :ror:

Great memories! My first ever comp was the old indoor course. Good times!

Good times. The first Midwest Challenge was my first comp. I had 2 batteries dump on course and the throttle return spring on my radio broke. All this time I've only had more stuff go wrong once and that was spread out over 3 rigs.
