HELP??

Just got a new mamba max pro for my wraith...installed and powered up, when i try to calibrate i just get a quick flash of all led's and starts beeping continuosly. Will not calibrate...I've checked all my connections...all setting on tx..trim, epa, reverse...tried two different tx/rx setups...different batteries...Same result. Any suggestions??

try reversing your throttle channel

nvm you tried that. What radio? pretty sure that rapid beep means no signal to the ESC. Do you have steering response?

flysky gt3b and tried the stock axial ax-3...yes have steering

plug the ESC signal into channel 1 and see if it responds since that channel is tested as working. Make sure all end points and dual rates are maxed and trims are centered.

according to Castle.....

rapid beep says its waiting for full throttle. Are you holding full throttle while you power it on?

just tried plugging in to channel 1...same result.... yes, holding full throttle when power on...

Impatiently awaiting response from Castle tech support tomorrow..hate getting new parts that don't work..LOL.

Check simple stuff, is the ESC receiver plug in backwards? Are the motor connections good? Castle esc's have to see the motor before arming. Is the esc the only thing you've changed?

Been there. I've had a few instances where I couldn't get one of my castle esc's to arm. For me its usually the throttle trim being off just enough. But I actually had a receiver plug in backwards once and another time had a bad motor connection. If you're hearing the beeping then the motor connections are probably solid.

Have you been unplugging the battery? If the esc doesn't arm for whatever reason and you have to start over, you need to unplug the battery. I've tried it just using the on/off switch and it still holds onto the problem. Throttle trim adjustment has been the only exception so far.

Didn't see it mentioned, but are you running a bec?

And which one if the MMP's are you running?
I think there's been a few model changes within recent years.
The 1 cell version requires a bec to work.

No bec wired in yet.

Just ordered it so should be the latest and greatest i would think...not the 1 cell version.

Thanks for all the input guys... still no solution, called tech support and they told me to hook up to castlelink and reflash the firmware....awaiting the arrival of my castlelink now so we'll see.
