KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

Usually I'd say if he has what you need in stock there's a good chance you'll see it by Friday or Saturday. But all the cyber Monday shipping crap might delay things?
Yeah I hear it...

Just placed an order to MO's #1 motor builder....slim chance it will be here by Sat, will see.

Guess I'm out...

Unfortunately I have only one rig that moves under its own power right now, and I question how well the drifter would do on the trail.

Nice rig Josh!....looks strangely familiar. ;-) (say how does that back bumper/tire carrier unit look...strong enough....been eyeballing it for the new 1.9 bronco project.

Jeff, I have a motor that you can toss in your Jeep if you wanna go play this weekend. let me know...

Appreciate it Paul...buts its such a pain in the arse changing motors out in the jk, would rather do it once and run it till it dies.

I'm just a master in the art of procrastination...can't begin tell you how many times, since GH, I've meant to buy a new motor.

Nutt'n like the last min right

when - Sunday - ??
start time - ??
where to meet up @ - ??

ok just you newer guys know !!
we as a club have not had vary good luck a jacomo lake.
have be run off there a few times at the spillway all-ready.

the park rangers will most likely do the same thing if they see us running RC cars on the trails !!!!

there are signs that say NO motorized vehicles allowed off pavement/trails.

there concerned about the flying Field there, us interfering with them.

so it would be a good idea to not be running anything around before we start on the trails !!

get there & hit the trails right away !!

just wanted everyone to know what could happen & be ready for it @ jacomo lake
Ok I thought you were suggesting to stay away from jacomo :ror:
I can see em bothering you moreso on the spillway but idk about the trails. guess we shall see

its like this @ any state/county operated parks around !!
no motorized vehicles allowed off the pavement - of any kind !!!
the State rangers are sticklers to this rule (ass-hats),
county rangers - like longview lake are mostly cool with us & look the other way

its a little ridiculous if you ask me. they allow biking right? those aqre much more hazardous than our little trucks. bikes weigh a good 15-20lbs plus the riders weight and go faster. our rcs weigh 10lbs (jeff) tops and cept the wraiths go no faster than we can run. after me and ryan go saturday we will be sure to let you guys know what we find out.

OHHHH I feel like an idiot now haha! sorry jerry
I am juggling RCC, facebook with my cousin and a MACROECONOMICS essay so I'm having my ADD kick in. I will repost the location time etc in that thread here in a sec. and repost it again a few more times as we get closer!

Ridiculous, yes. But a fact none the less. Bicycles are not motorized vehicles RC is.
Kind of like the pocket bike ban. Law states any motorized vehicle not licensed is illegal for road use. State of MO says you can't license anything under 49cc so mopeds fall under the pocket bike ban (checked for the wife). So like it or not atvs, dirt bikes, & yes RC cars are all motorized vehicles and are illegal for off road use.

But then again it's only illegal if you get caught
If they don't see you they won't bother you & they don't get out and walk the trails so what Jerry is saying. Meet grab you chit hit the trail don't draw attention in the parking lot.

FWIW...Jacomo and Blue Springs Lake are the same park (Fleming Park) and have the same rangers and regulations. Granted that doesn't mean they won't kick us out but I will certianly run till they do. :)
