KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

holmes hobbies!

Ya....pretty sure im gonna go that route with the waterproofing. And then let Matt and Tyler tell me what motor to use in the DDK.

Got the leafs in and kinda on tonight. Still needs tweaking. Talk about a pain in the ass and NO instructions or anything.

But here are some poser shots. Once the springs break in it will likely articulate really well!

Well...the tlt went away tonight..i will miss her..she was a tank and always reliable but...i have too many unfinished rigs and needed the funds to help jumpstart em. But the guy that got it from me is pretty cool and plans to start coming around.

Now....what ESC to put in the Yota?..lol

Don't worry man it went to a good home! haha i've been tinkering with it already! I dont think ill be able to make it out saturday, dont get off work till noon but looking forward to making it out with you guys sometime soon!"thumbsup"

They have a range? I've had my 9mm for almost a year and have yet to get any practice with it. Just lives in the drawer with a round chambered waiting for unwelcomed visitors....and Jehovah's Witness.

Lake City has a really decent outdoor range, handguns, hi powered rifles, and shotguns... usually no waiting, plus it's really cheap!

Cheap is right at $3 an hour.

How the hell do you expect to hit anything with all that practice?? :ror: And whats wrong with JW's, guess I'm not invited to your house for x-mas.

Now that's a pretty good idea. I know we have quite a few guys in the club that are plinkers.
Lets do it sometime soon! "thumbsup"

Wraith-track....who all's in?

F'n off this morning down at the Boulavard Drive In, starting talking my bro up about letting me put in a wraith-track in the back. And got the go ahead! Bobcat and $hit-ton of rock, on site, at our disposal to do as we wish.

Sound fun to anyone?

So who would be up for a scouting/planing/layout day sometime soon? Would like to get a few perspectives on layout etc.

The COE is also re-doing Turkey Creek thru thier property....gonna be a two sided slope/berm of nothing but rock (500'+ long and 25-30' tall, 50'+ base, 10-12' top cap/road). They start moving the rock in next week!

Holy moly, didn't realize we had so many crazy gun nuts.

We're heading down South Sunday. I was invited to a buddy's farm to do some shooting. But it sounds like we definitely need to have a KCRC lead slinging party soon! "thumbsup"

....at your buddies farm :). Seems like most ranges don't care much for my repetitive fire method!

Machine gun Kelly syndrome? :ror:

Taking the family and going down for a little shooting, dinner, and a trip to Acadamy to see what they have on special. Hope to get lucky and find myself a Christmas present. "thumbsup"

Yeah that 1 round per second rule can get boring at times :)

But a little range competition is always a grand time! Anyone got a spotting scope? I haven't owned one in YEARS.

I have no such rule at my farm - as noted with this really fast cycling TMP9 sub machine gun! BRRRRRAAAAP *click*

I'm down for shooting. we shot some clays over thanks giving. I'm pretty rusty.
