KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

The Wife asked, what do I want for Christmas. I said the Axial Exo Terra Buggy. I would like to know from you guys who have one. What do you think of the truck? The kit version. Thanks.

It's a great rig. I't a pain to build no doubt and getting the battery in and out is a bear but I love it anyway. It looks so awesome, and man it handles well. IT has a long wheel base. It's very stable at speed.

I mostly run on a track so I dont know how well it will hold up for out and out bashing, but it's a serious hoot to drive. The price is much better now too. It was a little too rich for my blood when it first came out.

I've been over there, didn't realize there was anywhere to drive though. Did you take any pics?

There are several nice areas to play at way in the back near the creek, and at the lower lot near river by Beverly access. No pics as I had left my phone in the truck, next time I will remember. Also found a really nice spot right in Downtown Weston, thery put a new bridge in a few years back going into downtown, the abutments are loaded with rip rap and rocks of all sizes/configurations. Right next to Bless park. Lots of long climbs and multiple lines to be had... played there for a long time.

a stock SLASH 4X4  will out last the EXO - hands down - 5X over !!

unless you put a butt load of after market parts in the EXO
its NOT A BASHER @ ALL ...... !!!!!

personally
the EXO's cool looking factor dose not over weight the bad design factor !

I have an SC10 2wd. Runs great but the looks of the Exo are KILLER. Been reading a lot about them. At this point it all depends on Santa and how she feels about it gettin it put under the tree. LOL

If you want a killer looking 4x4 basher then get a traxxas slash or stampede 4x4 (stampede for ground clearance and slash for handling) and pick a body you like. After buying that mini revo I found out the look factor is not worth having a beat em up truck that is always broken. down time = no funs

EXO for the win for me.
Had one, sold it.
Definitely will get another someday!
Handles great!
Slash 4x4 if you want to bash at the skate park.
Hard to get the same look as an EXO though.

I'd like to go run on Sunday. Thinking of doing an extended trail run of some sort. Thoughts?

65 degrees the weekend so what are we going doing ??
almost to nice of a weekend to pass up for some kind of G2G !!
for november.

I like where your head is Jerry. I'll keep watching here to see what you guys decide and possibly make it up there."thumbsup"

Guess I'm out...

Unfortunately I have only one rig that moves under its own power right now, and I question how well the drifter would do on the trail.

Nice rig Josh!....looks strangely familiar. ;-) (say how does that back bumper/tire carrier unit look...strong enough....been eyeballing it for the new 1.9 bronco project.

Throw a cheapy motor in the JK! Test out how those new tires will do! If you dont have an extra I do!
