So your getting alot of work done today huh.....;-)
You can drop that off and I'll build it for you![]()
I'm stupid swamped! Trying to get stuff done before I leave on Friday.
Where are you off to?
Id honestly like to see how to do that because I want to build some for my basement.
Although the Axial obstacle does look awesome,
The down side is something designed like that gets boring after a while.
As many of us can attest to, the obstacles we built for the last Midwest indoor challenge
Became a little too predictable.
I know Jerry had a pretty good idea for building some interchangable and modular
Obstacles that would be easier to move, stack, change or flip.
Built sorta like a square edged bowl, covered on both top and bottom with crete,
So they could be switched around to keep things fresh.
I saw it on their Flickr feed. pretty awesome stuff. Looks like a lot of work!

Last year our display was the hit of the Auto Show. This year we have made it bigger and better.
Most up to date images can be found on Gerrish's Flickr page,
2012 Portland International Auto Show - a set on Flickr
We only built this for the auto show, nothing else. The faces of joy and excitement are why we do it. Plus Axial loves the sales increase after folks decide they want one"thumbsup"
Last year's display can be found in Salem, Oregon @ RCPlus Hobby shop. It's a great tool to help sales, especially at a hobby shop.
This year we are having a couple of 1:1 rigs to flash the Axial signage. Hackster's SAS'ed Tacoma and Jason Veal's "Atomic Toy" will be there with Axial logos.
Thats true, but it'a also true for any prepared coarse. I think if it's built challenging enough it wouldnt be a big deal. Me and my neighbor used to crawl the rocks by my apartment everyday. It got a little old, but it never stopped being fun.
