Josh's Bully 2

I got the blue compound tires on my rig today. They are on Dlux carbon wheels. I thought the blue would give me a little more slip. Not the case. It seems like they bite harder than the silvers. The silvers seemed like they had to break in before biting hard. The blue seems to start chewing immediately. Added a cross member between the shocks. There was some flex there making me nervous. Also the one piece full length skid that has served me so well on the B1 axles had to go. The older axles have a notch behind the final drive gear that allows it to tuck behind. I could not get it to cooperate on these axles. I just clocked the rear motor down too. It felt like the cg of the rear was too high and I did not notice the motor getting in the way. A little more tuning and it will be skin time. I already have the lexan painted black.

These tires look gigantic compared to the chaos.

Put some skins on it. Still need to work on the side panels and skid.

I am thinking about running a puller 500 30T on the rear and a torque master pro 30T up front. Trying to create more bias. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't run mix matched motors but you do a lot of weird stuff so it may work for you.

I may have already asked this but, what's the distance on your horn from servo mounting screw to the hole your drag link is mounted to?

The torque master pro has a lot more grunt. The 500 has much better drag brake. Then the bias created by the weight difference I feel would also be advantageous. Just thinking out loud. I will probably just put 2 puller 500's on it and throw knuckle weights on it front and rear.

Drilled an eight hole pattern into a 42mm piece of delrin, drilled the center out, and cut it in half. Pressed some tungsten weights in and some knuckle weights are born. 4.2 ounces each.

It took most of my time today. Except for my 4 hour nap:lmao:to try to get back to sleeping at night. The weights are on. This gave me 2 more ounces up front. There are 16 total derby weights. This stuff just barely fit in there. I want to go out to the pile and try it out but cannot. Its storming again. Any way here are some pics. That is what we want to see anyway.
