JDM74's Optic

Here's my example: A piece of rod inserted into two servo posts17294533056184550845929539825073.jpgthese are regular alloy servo posts. Give a plastic set a try. Cheap and plenty to try. Put this between your ram and knuckle. Make sense?

I thought of aka "heim joints", and there are decent ones, but at 4 you're introducing 2 more pieces that can gain slop over time.

With the alloy servo post cut down a bit, and milled to width to fit your application, you can then take whatever M3 hardware and thread them onto the posts. Looks pretty and should be sturdy. Can be done with a file too!
Turnbuckles, pretty, but spendy
Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out!

My "scale" trick was to use ball ends painted silver. Run a piece of thread all between them, and once length is established cut a piece of thin wall aluminum tubing to slide over the thread all and be held captive by the ends.

Now unless of course you wanna drop some larger money... Custom length rods will do.

This back yard is going to become famous! And those shoes, man...I like the loud style!

I can't vape inside the house, even if my garage door is wide open, so I hang out next to my house when I do. ( a lot) Mostly with a cat in my lap, (Disabled Cheeseball) A non alcoholic drink on the shelf, or an RC floating mid air. However, there's always me kicking back in my "Sunday" Hey dudes posting my $.02.17295324459748211230969522651828.jpg17295522947046731456000679530586.jpg

HeyDudes have wilder styles than I ever imagined. I have a blue-gray set I got and wore only on the cruise from NY to Bermuda and back. Not typically my style. I wanna see the red ones that were blurred above! Guys talking about shoes on an RC forum... 🤣

They look really good. What brand did you end up going with? Any play?

No more play than stock. Not sure how long they are going to last but I got a boat load of them so I can swap them out if they get loose. As far as brand goes, I found them on Amazon and they are unbranded so I am sure they are the best Chinesium.
