JConcepts Creep!!!!

Yeah honestly i don't known how to delete them.... Just e-mail direct frankieu211@gmail.com it would probably be easier...lol, well for me at least.

Sent from my LGMP450 using Tapatalk

Frank, clicking on Private messages under your name, brings you to your PM folder.

directly under the red/amber/green line is a box that says inbox, with a dropdown that changes it to Sent.

next box down says Private Messages in Folder. On the far right side there is a little white box for a check mark, click on it. on the bottom of the page, there is another dropdown box. click on Delete and it will delete all the messages you previously checked. do the same in the Sent folder if you need to.

BTW - posting your personal email addy on the web is likely to get you a metric sh*t-ton of SPAM!

"thumbsup"

I'd delete that from your post, if I were you...

Thank you for that Mike, they are all deleted now.....lol

@Humboldt,thanks again!

This body, the Bog Hog, and the King Sling are all really scale versions of fiberglass mud truck bodies, I don't think any of them have opening doors IRL, either...

Here's one I spotted in YouTube clip - there's no door handles or detail to the grille on it - the truck appears at 15:35:

But it does have door panel definition. the Creep just has flat doors. That is my biggest complaint with it.

At least they're outlined... ;-)

It's just not really a "scale" body - but works for some applications.

I wouldn't use it except over a Capra or other caged build, myself.

The grille, cab gussets, fenders, and tailgate area all ruin any real scale aspect.

You could make it look nicer with some custom work, though...

Layer some material as door trim strips, scratch the lexan at the faint door lines to make them more detailed, trim the tailgate and fenders differently.

I also think the flat monochrome paint doesn't do the posted image any favors!

I just got my Creep today and it does have door outlines molded into the body. Oddly, JConcepts doesn't show this in their press photos of the Creep. I'm not sure what else you expect from a Lexan RC body. I can't think of one other Lexan body that has door panel definition besides outlines.

I''m talking about the style lines,as circled in my pic. The Creep just has flat doors.

Oh I can see wanting those, but JConcepts doesn't do really detailed bodies. They do simple and cheaper.

The Creep body has all kinds of potential by a creative person. BTW a lot of comp crawlers do not look scale either. This Creep body, cut down in many various ways will be a mean trail truck. No it wont be mistaken for a trail scaler. The Bog Hog can be set up in a cool fashion also. My Bog Hog is mean, and ready.
I like the Creeper. But as I just did the Bog Hog, I won't do the Creeper. They are too close.

I liked the Bog Hog in some way, but not in others. The poor sticker sheet was a bummer. I ended up using VS4-10 window trim decals. I also designed and printed a 3d front grill and added some Freq E Skin headlight stickers instead of the red mega truck versions. In the end, I only used the cab though.

Agreed, the cab looks decent the bed area no. Your 3d grill really helps the look! "thumbsup"

The 3D printed grille is a great idea. Did you upload yours anywhere? I’ll design my own, but it would be nice to have general dimensions right now. We’re slow at work so I could be designing it now if I had the dimensions. I just don’t have the body here to measure.

Just uploaded it to Thingiverse. It was a basic grill I did in 15mins is all so it's nothing special.
