Interest in Rally?

The track under went some work today and has a new addition. Hope everyone gets a chance to try it out tomorrow. "thumbsup"

Sorry I couldn't make it today. I had purposely left this weekend open so I could get Cody's Wraith running and I really wanted to get it done so we could take it camping next weekend. Hope it was a good day for you guys.

I did order some parts today to get the 4tec running so I will be rallying again this year. "thumbsup"

No worries Griz. Don't you have a TB-01 as well?

Speaking of the 4tec, I think I have a bag of pullys for it that I snagged a little while ago for you.

Sold the TB-01, I just didn't like the way it was built. I don't like Tamiya's use of shoulder screws and plastic rods as pivot points. I like rod ends. I'll run the 4Tec for a while longer.

Spare parts are always good. "thumbsup"

Hoon470 is about ready for the upcoming season. After the water drys out I will clean out the rest of the grass and refine some bumps in the track.

Plus we have a sweet new addition to the track.

Looks good!! Hope it makes it threw the flash flooding. The creek next to the track was getting pretty dam high tonight!! If we need to do an emergency build after this crazyness Let me Know I'm in..

The track as of saturday. The water level is down 6+ inches in these photos since I saw it on friday.

At least the bridges are still there.

Ha You say that now. But I went down there today and the primary cross over bridge was 50 feet down stream wrapped around a tree. At least one of the legs is mangled. The water right now is still too deep to get to it. But hopefully soon I can get out there and figure out if I need to re-weld it.

Hoon470 is back! Spent the last week down there throwing dirt and sand and changing up a few sections. So if anyone is interested in a practice, tune and test day I think I will be headed out there around 10am this sunday.

Do you think a Tamiya TA-02 would work for rally? Interested in joining you all and I am thinking of resurrecting this car to use.

Yeah, it should work fine. There is actually another guy that comes out and thats what he drives. It's not the fastest or best driving car in the world, but gets the job done and leads to some fun on these curvy tracks. "thumbsup"

Hey all, I've been down with an injury all summer and im starting to get back into the swing of things. its been a while and was wondering what options there are to start rally. I know of the Tamiya TT-01 and the Kyosho DRX VE. The Kyosho looks nice because its an RTR and I could get straight to racing. Any opinions? I'll be mostly running at The Crawl Space track since Hoon470 is a little bit of a drive for me.
