Interest in Rally?

Hey guy's sry I didn't make it to the night rally going thru some tough Shit.. But anyways.. The Fast Attack is done and kick ass. Got leds on it for the next Night rally. I'll have it down at the centennial Hobby town Sunday And Tuesday if anyone wants to take a look at it and see it run, stop by. This thing would make a great spec racer You guy's have got to check it out.. "thumbsup"

I know I'm not a part of the rally circle, but rumors are circulating about a course to accommodate Twin Hammers. :)

I'd love to show up to an event or two to have some fun.

Marcus

According to Ty, we're going to need a weed whacker out a Hoon470 lol

Either way, I bet we could do the Tarmac rally, or set something up at Red Rocks in a parking lot or even that spot Ty & I were at Saturday. Could be fun

Yes sir it is in the works. Right now it is a complete circuit, it still needs some work, but is coming along.

Hoon470 could use a weed whacker, but Joe and I hacked a bunch of the grass out from the track yesterday and made it so the grass is not obscuring the view any longer. It could use a little work, but after 30-60 minutes of work the track should be ready to race on.

Look at what $40 got me

CLEAN DIRT!!!! delivered "thumbsup"

Time to get started on the new track design. I can see some banked turns and some nice rollers and an elevated section???

Hell yeah Paul! Some elevation would be sweet. Maybe even getting out some masonry tools out and making a scale rock wall to hold the elevation in place.

Let me know when you need help slinging some dirt. "thumbsup"

A couple more of those piles would really be choice!

I can get a lot more "thumbsup" the guy that lives across the street has a brother that drives a dump truck, he says any time. I am going out today after work to start planning, Ty if you feel like stopping by I could use some layout suggestions. I also have a old rock fountain (in the background) that i am going to tear down, knock the old concrete off and build a retaining wall for the elevated section. Maybe not this weekend but next I could use some help slinging dirt, if anyone wants to help"thumbsup"

Sorry I've been away from forums guys, but whats the scoop on upcoming season? Df03 is still dusty but needs more track time!!! Trophy truck is the same!! Lets get to talking about upcoming season!!!! "thumbsup"

I headed over to Paul's (Basicmods) place today and helped him move some of that dirt and we started talking about the upcoming season. I think we are going to start the Season in October, then have them monthly till May. Have one a month and save the May date for trophies and as a make up date if needed. That way we don't have to try an make up a missed event that month if we can't make it work.

Thats the idea right now. I am going to start looking at the calendar soon and see what dates we have to work with. Once I get a calendar together I will post it in the group section so everyone can check it over and make sure it works.

After that I will start the CRC 2014 thread with all the updates we have made in the last couple of months.

Any possibility on running the m series chassis from tamiya this upcoming year?

I'm getting my vehicles ready and need to know which ones we will be running or which coarse there will be.

Highly unlikely. You are the only one that has expressed interest in the M series. You are welcome to bring it though and see if it can make it around the tracks. From what I have heard they are not very capable unless on tarmac.

All tracks this season are (so far) designed for 10th scale rally cars. We will not be running the 8th scale class in the series, but a few guys may be bringing them out for some exhibition runs.

We are looking to introduce a replacement class. So far most of the interest has been for a 2 wheel drive 10th scale car class. If you want to get in on the discussion for new classes check out the Colorado Rally group.

Almost ready for the 2014 Season "thumbsup"

Ok guys the season is coming up fast!

This saturday we will be having a build and tune day at HOON470 at 11am.

Bring your cars out for tuning and advice from other drivers.

It would also be greatly appreciate if everyone comes out and helps with a little track maintenance for the coming season.

The track is in good driving condition right now, so if you just want to come out and get some practice you can do that too. "thumbsup"

I can't wait for the coming season and I hope to see everyone this saturday.

Also-

Dates for the coming season have been posted in the rally group, everyone please go look at them and make sure they are good.

Once we get some approval on dates I will get the 2014 thread up.
