Interest in Rally?

And here you go... Im really not going to deal with it and honestly you have always caused problems with whatever you are trying to do. There is no in crowd, its all toys and its all fun, but you just always cause problems, you have since you first got to RCC when you were vendor pimping without a star to the whole Red Rocks issue.

Im stating the way it is, this is not a debate this is not a democracy. This is about a track Rodney and I spent 6 months building so we can have fun with our friends.

turtle not trying to build a custom but im very new to this seen a few videos and thought it would be cool and fun. I comp in drifting and in rockcrawling. So im not sure what every one is running but my tto1d is built to drift so if I want more spring travel I may have to change a few things but with the tires im bet I have enough travel.

Thats funny you remember things this way. There was no vendor pimping. I never offered anything for sale other than spare parts in the bst section and no feeler threads. The Red Rocks issue was dropped when it was apparent someones panties got in a twist about it. Did anything negative happen from that?

No problem, it was not directed at you. Several of us have the Tamiya DF03ra, a couple Traxxas electric 4tec, a HPI rs4 and there was going to be a TT01 rally till Casey tried to get to much belly clearance out of it and it blew up.:ror: You can do it with just about any car, I suggest something shaft driven due to dirt an rocks ruining belt systems.

The DF03ra is the most popular mainly because it is the only currently produced rally car that can handle a lot of abuse. I think a TT01 could be successful if that is what you want to do, but to be as durable as a DF03 it would need a lot of upgrades and even then Im just not sure it would be as good of a car. Tamiya describes the TT01 as a beginners vehicle.

Please do me a favor and stop polluting the rally thread. I just don't need the drama and you have made it apparent you have not changed.

Thanks and good luck with your builds.

UPS came today and dropped off some new wheels, Tamiya Rally tires, and my new body.

Time to start on the [HILLBILIGAN] paint job and I'll be ready for next weekend.

Juan and I took the cars out at lunch today to do a shakedown run on his new car. He had a couple small issues with steering so it was a good thing we did. He shouldn't have any problem getting it 100% and it worked great otherwise. We had a blast in the snow and gravel. "thumbsup"

Did you find a 190mm Focus? Are you going pastrana/halloween with the new body?

You guys are welcome to come over to rally headquarters tomorrow, if you want some tuning advice.:ror:

No, it's 200mm. But it was only $20 and that fit my budget for this month. Plus I really like the body style. I tried out some wide hexes and it looks pretty good. Good enough for [HOONIGAN] target practice anyway. :ror:

I'm going to go with the new Pastrana paint scheme, but to separate it from [HALLOWEENIGAN] Jocko :ror: I going to replace the black with purple. Should look good I think.

I can't swing by tomorrow, I've got a bday party for my neice and then we are going to the Christmas parade. Wish I could though, I need all the advice I can get. :ror:

Hq? I might be able to get the dfo3 running this morning.....anyone have an extra dfo3 buggy body?

And casey bought the rs4....hope to see him out soon

:flipoff: I think the 5500kv tekin motor I tried did more damage than the suspension lift. I'm going to keep playing with it, It looks like the rear bulkhead bearing support got melted through and now the spur just pushes away from the motor.

I bought Van's RS4 Rally, so that's going to be my main car for now.
