The local track, at the church, has a course that is scaled perfectly for this truck. The track is rough enough that you have to drive the whole time too. The rally is a little short on the suspension for this track but it's fun too.

Yea I know, but I was up at HT in Fort Collins Monday and they had 2 pairs of the Tamyia rally blocks. So I had to get them"thumbsup"

So I brought my Rally car in to work today to get my receiver installed and give it a quick test run. I think this motor is no good.

My rally car is spooled and I've been in the finals at both the races.

Everyone said don't run a spool in your shortcourse truck, they suck. I really liked the spool in my Slash.
Everyone said don't run a spool on the street in my 1:1 Bronco it sucks. Well my Bronco handled much more predictably with a spool than the Detroit.
I usually ran either a spool or one-way in my touring cars. It worked for how I drove.

False alarm...thanks to Griz's keen powers of observation, we figured out it was bad ESC connector going into the receiver. It just kept losing signal.
But my gear mesh is pretty tight, and it looks like the motor is adjusted as far out as it can go. I might have to go to a smaller pinion.
I've never been a fan of painting shells, but I might have to learn. These bodies seem like they would be fun to paint....I'll have to start saving the 2 liter soda jugs to practice on.
I can paint decent, and have the airbrush and all the stuff to do it, but I wanted this one done a certain way and that was above my skills so I sent it to Jwalker designs.
