Interest in Rally?

I downloaded the free trial of Dirt 2 last night on Xbox live. I think the dynamics are really good. If not as good as a real car sim, at least as good as a rc car sim. :ror: Some of the dynamics are a bit arcade to keep you driving but there are also adjustments. I had fun anyway.

With the money I spent on the rally car this weekend I will have to wait till next month to buy the full game.

I still have my Logitech force feedback wheel and pedals. I'll have to pick up a copy of Dirt3. All the videos I see though just have the hood visible. Is there an option for the full interior to be visible?

Yep. You can select several views (cockpit is my favorite). You can also customize how realistic the car handles. I've never seen the R. Burns sim but this one has me giggling quite a bit.

X2, except the cockpit mode to me seems like the view is a little too restricted, I have seen three monitor systems that show a really good view, but Im not a baller.

I have heard the Burns one was good as well, but I don't know what people are comparing it too and I have never played it myself.

Chad you want to race sometime? I think my username is turtle_the_quick

Yea I don't like playing the in car view, I like the trailing view.

When we used to play with a bunch of us from RCC, Badger was constantly side swiping and running into people, he kept saying he couldn't see us. We finally figured out he was using the in car view.

Dang....I thought i got a good deal....but atleast I have the disc.

The Gymkanha is a riot....especially the 650hp Fiesta.

Good graphics too.

Sure!

I bought dirt 3 at GameStop for 39. They had used for 35.

I like the realism of the in car view, although I think there are easier camera angles to drive. The passenger side is blocked in the cockpit mode.

Just took the Mini out for a couple of packs. Man, that thing is a BLAST!

The local track, at the church, has a course that is scaled perfectly for this truck. The track is rough enough that you have to drive the whole time too. The rally is a little short on the suspension for this track but it's fun too.
