JIA do you have one of these inhand?
is so could you get me a dimension?
what do the axles width measure outside of bushing to outside of bushing? if that makes since, just inside the pin holes.
TLTs are about 6.6"

Those are definitely not TLT axles, I see replaceable C's. So by saying its a 2.2" wide tire but I guess its not 2.2 diameter? Tranny looks very interesting, but not that easy to mount to a chassis plate.

Looks like a great scale truck. I really hope that Tamiya sell the axles from this truck separately.

I was talking to one of the guys from Tamiya and he said the axles are all new. They will also be available separately as a kit. So I guess comp rigs could be built using these new axles. The axles have differentials, but can be locked. Probably similar to the way the High-LIft axles do. I can't wait to get mine.

Boner.

Eh a look a like the wheelbase is a adjustable yah?

Hey guys...

I just updated the first post with pricing direct from Tamiya.

Check it out.

It's going to me more like $299-$325 based on our pricing released to distribution today. This kit will be available first in the U.S. only for about 4 weeks prior to Japanese or European markets. This was done to ensure the market this product was intended for gets it first. It was also done to prevent gray market imports.

There you have it.

the wheels the tires the detail of the body, all these new parts.....well men i think we are now at a point in time where we may just see a new bruiser in the not to distant future.not just a rebodied high lift.but maybe a tacoma 3 speed .i can see the next gen box art now,a tacoma with the fj wheels & tires.tamiya finally seems to be listening to us,and obviously has a deal with toyota & thats why proline had to ditch there fj.........could they be working on a deal for a new pickup?....oooohhhh:shock:

Were they pretty firm on the April 08 time too? If so, which vendor is going to open up the preorder first? I want one (and a bearing kit if they come with bushings). "thumbsup"
