This was done to ensure the market this product was intended for gets it first. It was also done to prevent gray market imports.

...Gee :roll: That would be me :lol: Who else is in Japan? only SLIGHTLY bummed that the US will have them before JPN :twisted: Its all good...Should be a fun platform...

yes I know ...just in time for when my first crawler will be done I guess ...Tamiya is playing it safe knowing that the market has already been proven
to offer big bucks by Axial ,sly move if you ask me as the Japanese have shown to be capable of in not so distant history
but anyway I cant wait to get mine at $250 :lol:

...yup...unfortunately its not really my cup of tea, i am more looking forward to the Kyosho truck...but there might be some bits and pieces that the world wants that only 'we' can get "thumbsup"

New hop-up parts for the CR-01 chassis:
54046 CR01 Aluminum Battery Plate
54047 CR01 Aluminum Servo Bed
54048 CR01 Strengthened Wheel Axles
54049 CR01 Ladder Frames (Luster Silver)

This will be reflected on the Tamiya USA website after the overnight update. However I haven't received any pictures yet.
