3s / HH 13T CM @6.0v / spektrum 6230 servo. No hold on the incline and under full load the steering servo would glitch and cause tire movement.
Switched to 2S all the same settings and it holds / no servo glitch.

I'm not sure if that motor will hold a truck at a dead stop on an incline. It might, but I'm not sure as I don't have much experience with it. I don't like my vehicles to stop dead, personally.
What servo are you running?

My 13t crawlmaster doesnt hold as well on hills as my 27t and 35t torquemaster motors... Reason is the 5 slot rotor in the CM vs the 3 slot rotor in the TM....

Try changing drag brake rate to a higher level to see if that helps.
My second one showed up so I threw it in my TF2 with a Holmes Torquemaster Expert 35T and went for a little rip. I am very happy with this ESC! No issues whatsoever, never got hot, wiring is so much cleaner without needing a BEC (have a Holmes HV500 in this rig), the only thing is there's still a beep when I thought it'd be silent. Might try playing with settings to see if I can help it. It's quieter than my SV3 was but not as silent as a Holmes BRXL.
Should be able to eliminate the slight high frequency beeping by switching motor drive frequency setting, let us know how it goes.

That's what sorted it for me. When i went to the 16k resolution it became silent.
Only motor noise now.

It's my birthday today so I picked up a HW WP 80 and Titan 550 21T to test out with my birthday money.
Hoping it'll handle 3S on my Bomber and give me similar wheel speed to a 27T on 2S but without the heat.

Quick feedback this arvo.
22 degrees C and I directly compared it to my son's brushless non sensored SCX10.
On 2S, it's not quite as fast as his stock 20/87 geared 2200kv on 3S so it's definitely quicker than a 35T motor. Maybe about 29-30T equivalent?
On 3S it's noticeably faster than his on 3S. Maybe more like a 21T on 2S?
My Bomber with stock gearing probably goes a touch too fast on 3S with the Titan for the chassis. I think I'll gear down to a 10 or 11T pinion (currently 12/64) to match the speed of the SCX10 which will help crawling and temps in warm weather.
The ESC is nice and very simple to program. My LCD HW program box oddly didn't work with it but the included one did. Worked like a champ and I just turned on the freewheeling and upped reverse to 75%.
I on purpose crawled up a slight 12' embankment over and over..,maybe 15 times fairly slow but not crazy slow. The motor got to probably 50 C and the ESC probably similar. I did doughnuts and burnouts and jumps and raced my son for ages (I ran down a 3300 3S pack) and it came in at 48 degrees C on the motor which was pretty impressive.
The SCX10 though was even cooler...this worried me a little as on a 35 degree C afternoon my son's SCX10 was hitting 60C with no effort so I'm kind of doubtful personally that the Titan will be cooler than that rig. it may get hot in hot weather. The ESC might need a fan too. The SCX basically turns into a 2S rig when the weather's hot. This might be the same.
Drag brake with the Titan was avg. It definitely can flip the Bomber over forwards if you stop hard with some grip (it's got some grab) but it does roll a bit. The HW sensorless setup in the SCX10 is like glue in comparison.
I am pretty darn impressed thus far. All the wheel speed I ever wanted for the Bomber, decent torque and good control, low cost, it can tackle water, hopefully is reliable and doesn't get too hot and if I need to throw a Titan motor at it every 6-9 months I'm not that fussed.
I personally think this setup might be THE affordable setup for a crawler where you really don't miss out on anything.

Hi Guys.
I'm running shafty Axial AX-10 with 2 servos axle servo is hitec 7950 and dig servo hitec rated 6.6v will the esc BEC be strong enoough to run both servos?
Also i have brushed 55t tekin motor can this esc run brushed motors?

Hmm interesting, I was going to try the same thing, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I haven't touched mine in a while, but do you remember if the LCD HW Program box can be flashed to updated firmware? Maybe it just needs new firmware to recognize the 1080, as it's newer.

I believed it could though 4 previous HW ESCs worked inc the new MAX10 SCT 120.
It just didn't go further than connecting but the inc box instantly worked and even had the settings on the case which was nice.
There's hardly anything needing adjustment anyway so it's ultimately minor.
I might try to update the LCD unit as it's handy and has USB on it.

I changed the PWM Frequency (Setting #13) to 16K (Option 5) and the truck is now essentially silent. The electrical noise/beep is extremely faint now, where I have to get close to actually hear it. Extremely happy! Paired with my Holmes HV500 servo I don't have any electronics noise anymore, which makes a huge difference when running it. Way more relaxing! Way to go Hobbywing, what a great product!!

Here's a short outdoor "bench" test of my HobbyWing WP1080 with the Holmes Hobbies CrawlMaster 13T motor. This combo is incredibly smooth and quiet! I took a test run in my yard and I'm loving it. I can't wait to try it out on the trails.

I've added the Titan+HW WP80 setup to the SCX10. It runs even cooler than the Bomber possibly due to weight differences rather than major gearing differences as they are pretty close speed wise with 23/80 and 12/64 gearing. I'll adjust the Bomber to 11/64 which may help the motor temps.
I am really impressed with the setup and like it better than the previous brushless SCX10 setup as it's more granular and progressive; it drives just as good for speed (it's actually noticeably faster)and noticeably better for slow.
I feel for the money, you'd be crazy to go to the expense of brushless when the all round ability, speed and control is fantastic and suits the chassis setups. These are crawlers and on 3S go pretty quick for their handling.
Plus replacement parts are dirt cheap. I'd only go brushless for a big buck rig and then it's not really going to be a crawler anymore (why have a 35mph setup with locked diffs and drag brakes).
Might take them for a cruise in the rain today.
