I watched this series from beginning to end. I always thought that the series ended too abruptly and left too many unanswered questions. There was always talk of a movie but never saw anything in any detail until today.

Apparently the movie was made and will air on May 31. I think it will be interesting to see how the writer bridges the 10 year gap from when it ended and to see how the story lines changed.

Any other fans out there?

When I first saw the trailer for this a few weeks ago, I was just as excited about it as I was the final season of GOT.

Our household is HUGE fans of this show. The story is great and the script writing is beyond brilliant. We're currently re-watching S03. Every character is just amazingly developed and acted.

We've been waiting for this movie for a long time, so excited that is coming so soon!

I watched one or two episodes of Deadwood but never followed up on it. I think I may go back and watch it from the start next time HBO does a free access weekend. I'm a HUGE western fan so I'm looking forward to this.

The entire series is extremely good - one of the best shows taken as a whole that I've ever seen.

So many indelible characters, and a helluva lot of scenery-chewing acting performances.

I really had a soft spot for Calamity Jane.

I've watched a few episodes a while back. I was in a hotel and the TV was left on HBO and it was great. I have added it to my list of shows I want to watch but just havent had a chance to start.

Cocksucker

For weeks at the office I used to work at we all called each other San Francisco Cocksucker in our best Mr. Wu voice.

I signed up for HBO NOW so that I can stream this in about 10 minutes, I hope it works!
