on the edge!
ok so seems to be something with me breaking the same knuckle. I've now broken 3 knuckles and they are all the same one that means 3 sets I have to buy! I think I need to go aluminum now cuz this is getting ridiculous. Who could make a recommendation to where to buy and what brand to get for aluminum knuckles. Thanks, I love this rig buy I think I break it every time I'm out using it (I am not easy on it).

How are you breaking them? I broke one once before, but it was from hitting a fence post at high speed, which also broke the bulk head.

I dunno how they break. I've ordered aluminum knuckles front and rear so hopefully I'll be able to use the beast again.Waiting on parts........

Mines been pretty bullet proof. Big brushless and lipo's, plus the truck was second hand. There's only a bit if play creeping in to the steering blocks. Might be time to upgrade.

I picked up a spare set of knuckles when I got my summit and have yet to replace them. Even in my emaxx with mmm and the largest brushless motor I could fit in it and the knuckles where the only thing I didn't bust.

Update: I installed the new aluminum (GH Racing) knuckles. I haven't really had time to go test them out. I guess I break them because I drive like a blind person would:shock:. I need to take a different approach to my driving.

Well I've only broken an axle and front a arm( from running full speed into a clothes line, I wasn't driven ). But besides that the summit has been going strong. Knuckles seem like one of the least likely things to break, but trying to flip over the car by putting the difflocks and gunning it will break things. A local guy running a mamba monster system tried to do this and broke a knuckle, axle and driveshaft. Too much torque and power.

I seem to make contact with stationary objects when at a high rate of speed:shock:. What seems to break is where the tierod attaches to the knuckle.
