Gettin' Southern Showdown! ~OCOEE WHITE WATER CENTER~

Just cancelled my cabin at Copper Hill, FYI they said its less than 7 days notice so $100 deposit gone unless they can rebook the cabin before the weekend, $100 deposit may be credited to a future stay possibly, he said call back next week to see if he was able to rebook it. I explained the situation, guy was super nice, is what it is.

I tried like hell to have this comp atleast around the area but there was no way to have it and it be convienient as far as parking, bathrooms, etc. Atleast at LRC we know we have great parking, Rocks are mere feet from the parking lot, and there are atleast some facilities. Not to mention the grid-iron in town

If anyone will be getting down there friday, I would love to have a giant scale run friday evening for all who are interested. No score, rules, or any kind of shit just bring something to run and enjoy the terrain "thumbsup"

Just for Clarification... 2.2 Pro and the 2.2 Pro Finals will all be on Saturday as previously planned correct?

Also... what time do we need to be there Saturday?

As a sponsor of this event AND A FRIEND TO EVERYONE HERE I want to thank everyone for their understanding of this fuked up situation. I know some last minute decisions were made and may not be as convenient for everyone as initially planned. The location was decided only by having adequate parking, decent accommodations, proven ground and access permission on a moments notice. It was not to favor nor inconvenience any one group of guys. The decision had to be made enough in advance for those attending to have time to regroup and replan.

I hope what comes from this is we all start hunting newer locations for different comps of this size in the southeast. Just remember all the necessary requirements in looking. Colby has done a great job planning this event basically on his own. I was with him for the last three days and it nearly worried him sick trying to make this right. In the end this will I believe still be a great comp and social gathering.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS SITUATION IN THE UPCOMING ELECTIONS...

Thank you guys and girls very much,
Steve/TEDROCKZ

You guys have fun, don't think team VA will be there, new terrain and a closer location was the main draw and since that is no longer the case seems I am on my own, and will not be making the 10 hour journey alone. Nobody here's fault, is what it is, GO TEAM Y-TOWN, I mean Alabama.
