Thanks weatherman sterling! Lol comp is happening regardless of rain. We will have tents and theres a massive pavillion. I will see if i can bring a few tarps to give to each team so we can keep trucks and gear covered while waiting to run courses. Saranwrap around electronics and the rain will just add to it. Someone is winning 300 bucks saturday... Rain or shine. If that keeps you from coming youre just a debbie downer

Well BigRon, sddill, Slick and myself are canceling our reservations. After three of us drove over 200 miles on Sunday trying to find another comp spot it has gone too far. If we hadn't driven to Carter's dam and found it closed where would we have been right now? Then I start getting texts from Colby asking why some weren't coming to LRC. I told him I thought he jumped the gun. I received this text from him.....
"I begged the tn guys for help but got nothing"
Really? Weren't we going to vote on the location? I was already appalled by the under age event coordinator discussing illegal moonshine on a public forum. Now I get this kind of Thanks? I can't support this type of disrespect for laws or authority.....

Barry, i apologised for my text that i sent to you as well as the discussion of the alcohol in this thread. I had not realised you guys all went driving around looking for places to crawl for me until i talked with slick this morning. Also, the alcohol was a joke brought up from ECC with farmer and it went off from there, that being said i AM underage, and will not, and do not consume alcohol outside of the supervision of my parents.
Again i apologise, the last couple of days have been overwhelming as far as all of the changes and what not. I respect the decision to cancel the reservations and not attend my event. Your tickets and shirts will still be there if you decide to change your mind. I appreciate what everyone has helped me with as far as this event goes. I also appreciate those who are talking about me behind my back to others about my decision to change it to LRC. Just gives me more of an incentive to make the event 20x better next year.

Colby, I have known you a long time. You do have it in you to say some abrasive things sometimes before you think it through. I don't think you meant what that sounded like though, and in my opinion... a phone text between two people is none of MY business anyway.
We have talked on the phone a few times in the past weeks, and while you sometimes talk like you are A.D.D. ;-) I at least hope you really know how hard ETRC was trying to make this happen in our back yard. "thumbsup"
