I have checked everything out, and I'v fixed it once because of the Red Rings. and it always would mess up and go red again. this time it froze up on me and only 1 Ring and E73 CODE, and $150 to get fixed at Microsoft. everything iv read up on the E73 Code is not good and can only be fixed sending it in to them.

you would think these xbox fanboys that have gone through all these xboxes would clue in and buy a ps3.

I have owned 1 360, many years ago.

i'm on my 3rd PS3, (none died, i'd get bored sell it, buy another when a game I really wanted came out)

now I barely play it, but there is nothing better for movies. so it getts put to use.

i have a shitload of games. gaming comes in cycles but since i can watch blurays on it i wont ever get rid of it. and if it breaks ill buy another for sure.

Well close to being in the middle of no where I have a gamestop and a walmart 50 miles from me. I also have the internet option. Bought my COD Modern Warfare 2 edition xbox new with 1 year warranty. The cd drive took a shit on me at month 10. Gamestop said bring it in and either I get the exact same amount in trade in that I spent on the xbox or I can get the new halo edition with a new one year warranty for free.

So I am rocking the Halo edition xbox problem free for a few months now with a warranty good until october of 2011. They hooked me up and the customer service is excellent. Now I only bought this at gamestop because dealing with returns over the internet is a pain in the ass. Send in, week wait, coupledays to a week for repair/return, shipping to get it back. Nah I will deal with the gamestop kids.

Ps3 is good though as well and fanboys of any kind can suck my ^%$^&%
grow up and quit whining:flipoff:...lol Every system has its advantages and gaming is in a really good era right now. Only had a controller issue with my PS3. Wii, no issues whatsoever except boring to play without a room full of people..hahaha

Good luck man selling your broken xbox any amount you can get sounds like a bonus to me. The run around sucks and kick them right in the nuts for lying to you.

Peace,
Reb

Here is what you need to understand. PROMOTIONS CHANGE! there was a trade promo that ended YESTERDAY! Trade a system, get an extra $25. Now if your broken system doesn't work, you will not get the same trade value as a fully functional system. There is an approximate $25-30 refurbishing fee for non-working systems (varies according to trade value) The price you were quoted over the phone was the value at that time. They have also done price drops on systems periodically over the last month or so, lasting anywhere from days to weeks. When the price drops, so does trade value. "thumbsup"

I understand it's about customer service, but the adage, "the customer is always right" is BS. If something is on sale and the sale ends, you can't expect to go in the next day or week and get it at that price. If you don't like GS, don't shop there! It's that simple.

The guy offers you $50 instead of the mythical $60 you think your BROKEN xbox is worth. Then he hooks you up with inside info that they will be on sale in a couple of days for $99, not the $119 you were going to pay. In the end he still was saving you $10. How old are you? Maybe you have not taken any basic math classes. I hope they tell you to eat a dick and will not give you anything for your xbox.

119-99=20...he would actually save $20.....

Well said"thumbsup" but remember he hit his head not to long ago on a breaker panel door. Give him some time. The basic math thing might come back to him.
