Gamers?

I have an Xbox One but very rarely play. I prefer single player campaign games and those aren't very common anymore. Playing online normally just pisses me off. I hate losing to some little punk twelve year old who spends 6+ hours a day playing video games, especially when they talk a lot of shit.

I've been close to pulling the trigger and buying a Nintendo Switch but I worry that I won't play it enough to justify buying it.

^^Agreed, I miss single player campaign games.

OK, so you guys have got me fired up for Dirt Rally again. Since it's one of the few cross platform games out there, how about a good old fashioned lap challenge? According to the Dirt site, here is this weeks challenge. You may pick any car from the 2000s class.

I’m in! Sounds like fun. I haven’t done much Dirt in a while so this is a great excuse to fire it back up. Any damage or other rules?

Also, if anyone has been able to pay attention to E3 please pop some highlights or what has you excited in here. I have family in town and haven’t had a chance to see what’s going on.

I only play single player, I usually choose the easiest modes except for game I may decide to replay. I play for fun to relax, I like a challenge, but don't want to repeat scenarios over and over just to progress either. I am hoping the single player in Fallout 76 works well, I have no desire to go mmo.

I just leave things at default settings for stuff like damage (which I believe is on by default). The weekly challenge says no restarts, but this is for fun, so run it as many times as you want and just post up your best stage time.

I haven't really kept up with E3 to be honest. Just not that much stuff I'm interested in these days.

xbox 360
xbox one
pc

have actually gone back and every tues night a few friends get together and were playing old games like Rainbow Six Vegas 2... adds the fun back as our PCs are better now and we can crank the settings up. Graphics are awesome and these games still are challenging...

I wish I could get back into Dirt Rally, After I lost all my progress from a bug I've lost my will to keep playing. It is an amazing game though.

Although the hot lap challenges let you pick any car right?

Anyone still play DIABLO II ?

Ladder resets Friday PM, I am planning to O.D. on Diablo over the weekend. If anyone wants to start the fresh ladder, holler at me through a PM.

All the ones I'm seeing on the site are now based on certain individual cars, or car classes.

Only game I'm actually looking forward to for the rest of the year is Wreckfest coming out on Xbox One in November (supposedly)...

Seeing your post made me go back and play this title on my PC - I picked it up an incredibly long time ago, don't know how many years - on Early Access on Steam.

It was always pretty fun, although obviously in need of further development.

Turns out, it JUST left Early Access status on last Thursday!

I hit play, and the entire game has been revamped.

Loads of hilarious fun.

Yeah, they had to remove previous progress for the final update - but this wasn't a game where that even really mattered.

It's a really good-looking game now, too.

Not very cheap now at about $45, but it cost me way less than that originally.

Anyone who has this title in their Steam catalog needs to bust it out now, and have fun!

"thumbsup"

Gaming rig died. Three and a half hours ago. Still processing. Fml.

Sheiße! :oops::cry::x:shock:

I always forget to "share" my pics, so here's my only crawling pic - funny how we used the same vehicle!

It's a goner. Motherboard...

At least these days you can get a decent gaming mobo for fairly cheap... I'd be cryin' if my GPU went out, because I wouldn't be satisfied with anything less than a GTX 1070...

I just bought (well actually, my gf bought for me as an early birthday present) a PS4 Pro so that I could play Detroit. I stretched it out over acouple of days and it was fantastic - lots of replay value as well, as the game can be drastically changed through small choices.

I also bought and played Until Dawn - I had wanted to play it for a while now.

I really enjoyed Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls on the PS3, as well as the various Telltale games titles - looking forward to hopefully playing more games like that in the near future on PS4.

Also, had to finally play GTAV in first person, and really looking forward to The Last of Us 2.

Im planning on building a new rig, that will do gaming just fine if some one should decide to make a game to my fancy.
But as Nvidia are about to put out new GFX cards i will hang on a little to secure a better deal on a older card, cuz i am only going to be using the 1080p my screen is, so no need to go totally overboard on the GFX card.
I really do need more spinning disk storage, and i would like to try a M2 hard drive or two instead of my SSD for C: drive
Will be recycling my old modified Lian Li case, and i think my PSU are large enough to pull a stronger system, same goes for my water pump so only changing hoses and CPU cooler + adding new fluid color as i have grown weary of red coolant and LED light in the flat black case.

2700X - 32 Gb ram is what i will be shooting for.

Those new 32 core threadripper CPU's 8) that would be so good for my video work, but no way in hell could i afford such a monster.

O i am laying steel across the America in Railway Empire now and then, but thats also the only game i have installed on my computer at the moment.
