FusionPro Mini16 in 1/10

A ton of stock escs on crawlers are rebranded hobbywing. These are too just with some changes that spektrum added.

The spektrum version is on sale for $60

Does this offer the same software adjustability?? Couldn't find any info on that from their site

Looks like no aux wire for on the fly drag brake adjustments, and 1 or 2 fewer program options on the spectrum version.

Typical Horizon and their lack of info. I think the 1/10 Spektrum 2 in 1 uses a different programmer and it has different options than the Fusion Pro, so maybe it is the same story with the 1/16? I did notice the Spektrum does not have the extra connector that the Hobbywing mini has and it doesnt have whatever components are heatshrinked on the power leads. Also has the different power connector.

Yes, Hobbywing manufactures many Spektrum ESCs and other electronics. Spektrum often uses Hobbywing ESCs, especially for their "Firma" series. Some users have even found that Spektrum ESC program boxes are Hobbywing boxes. Hobbywing's website also mentions that they are an early company in China focusing on high-power-density brushless power systems.

Looks like the Spectrum unit does not have these 2 features:

11. RPM Decrease Rate: This refers to the speed of rpm change when reducing the throttle (from high to low throttle) in the normal mode. The higher the value, the faster the change. If you would like to have a "coasting" feeling when the throttle is reduced, like a normal brushless system, this value needs to be set low. Note: this parameter is only valid for normal running mode.

13. Neutral Range: Some radios will have a larger neutral range. If you have difficulties calibrating the neutral position increase the value
