LOL. I've ridden a 120' supply boat in from the rigs once when we all evacuated for a hurricane. It was that bad in the Gulf of Mexico with side seas and those big storm swells. There was about 30-40 of us all crammed into the upper deck of quarters and laying everywhere. 5 or so on the back deck feeding the fish whatever they ate before we left, too. Ride in was about 9 hours.
Rounded the cape at South Africa in their winter onboard a 718" drill ship. It wasn't bad at all until you got higher up. We went to the crown section of the derrick and it pops pretty hard up there due to the 60' or so draft it runs.
