Turns out Consumer reports faked their tests to frame the Samurai as unsafe what a bag of D's

I dont know how anyone else remembers this but the only thing I remember is that the Samurai was easy to roll and not that Consumer Reports faked their testing and when sued by Suzuki settled out of court.

I'm not familiar with that story, but if it's true I'm shocked that Suzuki settled out of court instead of suing Consumer Reports into oblivion. Sometimes saving a reputation is worth more than money. Tesla obviously threatened a lawsuit or paid Consumer Reports under the table because they did a complete about face on the quality of the Tesla.
