Funny Pictures

Not sure if this belongs in the Funny Pictures or Cool Pictures thread... Think I’ll leave it here for now...

That's pretty cool, especially since in the 1:1 thread there's a thread on those tiny trucks

Not being scarcastic with the funny/cool thing. We had a small fleet of these at a command I was stationed at, so it is both funny and cool to see one tracked up like this. They were great little work trucks, all but two had governors limiting their speed to 40mph, the two that didn't would do a lot faster than the speedometer allowed for.

The one pictured is for sale on FB, $13k.

I like it. Guy down the road from me sold those and the Yanmar tractors. He could get any Grey Market vehicle you wanted really. But under the Obummer administration he couldn’t afford to stay in business with new import policies and whatnot.

They would arrive ungoverned and he would weld a 5x5” box with the shift pattern on it eliminating the last gear. Drill mounting holes on the floorboard and weld nuts underneath. That way all you needed was a ratchet and socket to take it off. Smart guy. He sold them by the containers.

If you look you'll find all kinds of RTR RC's listed for ridiculous amounts, some fools must buy these from time to time thinking it must be the best or something

Lol, I didn't catch that when my buddy in Michigan first texted this to me, I only noticed it when I found this linkable version above:ror:
Probably fresh outta the school lol. Theres alot of those kind of companies out there. Thank God i was raised around them n didnt have to go that route lol. Theyre makin it to easy for anybody to get cdl now days. Almost every company hiring 'out of trucking scool' drivers are goin to auto trans. Anybody can put it in D n go. I guess simplicity is the game.

Where i live now we have a chicken plant (Koch Foods). A guy that started workin at concrete plant where i work said th new HR/safety (whichever she is) is lookin to let all the veteran drivers go. She wants to bring in 'out of trucking school' drivers. They can pay them less, in her mind. But in reality theyll end up spendin more for people layin trucks over, losin cages from not strapin them down, accidents from lack of attention or playin on thier phones.

Some are born truckers, others 'think' theyre truckers lol
