Funny Pictures

Be realistic lol. Though dividing aint easy, even on paper. Unless its cutting a number in half. Then its easy.

Though.. I odrered from an online hobby shop page over the phone.. For 6 small items that were placed in a small flate rate box, the website tried to charge me 77.86 usd for shipping when i was only 350 miles away at most. So maybe math is hard for some.

The owner explained it was trying to ship the items individually. Lol. Websites.. Lol.

That depends, I was ok w/math when I worked retail, now that I'm in a call center and dealing with discounts, I may be better at basic math now than I ever was in school:ror:

On my work PC, two of the bookmarks I have at the top of my browser are "convert decimal to fraction" and "convert fraction to decimal".

I'm a mechanical engineer so numbers are my profession. I have a lot of decimal equivalents of fractions in my memory. But when it comes to a lot of geometric formulas I use websites. I purged those formulas from my brain long ago thanks to graphing calculators. There's really no need to memorize them.

Smart phones and technology has made us dumb. Myself included

I really believe it started with calculators and got worse from there. If I ever needed my girlfriend and I didn't have my phone I'd be SOL. I have very few phone numbers in my memory.

I use math almost daily in my line of work, but it's odd math that only applies to my profession. I can still do long division on a piece of paper though. I've helped my nephew with some of his homework. I was always good at math though, and I'm a professional nerd.
