I would like to buy front and rear axle covers for scx24. Having searched in ebay.com and aliexpress.com, I found two kinds of them.

I have seen the latter in many youtube channels, but the former only recently in ebay and aliexpress. The latter weighs 9g each, but I don't know the weight of the former.

Which one would you recommend?

Whatever is cheaper. They are all the same if you ask me.

Well, one is brass and one is aluminum. If the purpose is for weight gain the aluminum one is useless. I too looked at the generic ones but i’m more interested in adding weight lower to the ground.

I thought so, too.

I've just got the answer from the seller (which took a while).

Aluminum one: 7.7g

Conclusion: Brass is much better!
