Another shot from the morning.

This is the last coat of paint on the last set of parts to be painted.

In case you wondered, these were the paints involved to complete this project.

Was thinking of painting my Pro-line desperado to,does that Tamiya poly paint works good and was there any sanding involved.Just wondering if it's going to peel on the rims..I'm sure it will get scuff up but will it peel or crack...Nice build by the way.I may do that to mine but for now still having fun as a kit version.

Yes I did sand the surface for a bit width a Scott dish washing foam, the same thatbi do with lexan body before painting

"thumbsup" Very cool build. This is making me really consider purchasing a Yeti and trying this out.

Might be able to sneak a new RC past the wife, with the "Nope it's just a different body" excuse.

I am just as excited to bring this thing out to make nice run, I am looking out for spot to simulate a Baja run.

Why are you unlocking the rear axle? Are you putting specific oils back in? And lastly, if u do put oil in the rear, how are you planning on keeping said oil inside and not leak out?

Since this is now going to be driven like a sct instead of rock racer, locked diff is no longer required. Having a open diff in the rear will greatly improve handling and cornering speed.

I put in team associated 100k diff oil in it they are sealed in using axial o-ring listed below.

AXIC1162 Axial O-Ring 5x1mm (10) 1

Now I really want to see a video in motion ;-) Did you drive it before you unlocked it at all? Mine handled completely different with the large body attached and the wheels in the rear. Your truck might not be lifting the opposite front corner then anymore, right? I like that look though...

Yup, I am trying to make this thing handle similar to a slash hcg, once rebuilt is finished I will put up some handling test video first before the official dramatized music video.
