Finally - a 1/10 trophy truck built in the axial yeti

I have a warning for everyone. I had a new can of tamiya metalic blue and I was being cheap so I risked it knowing it is a slightly different hint of blue so I think I have butchered the scale look:(

I see what you mean - looks like a Subaru STi now. Just kidding!
I am sure it will turn out great once you add the stickers. I had to google Menzies truck and saw it isn't metallic - but I had it in mind that way. The Red Bull Blue is officially not even metallic, but since all the cans are silver, their blue appears metallic too. And actually their fleet is mostly silver with transparent blue. The blue just appears different all the time. Here is some inspiration:

Thanks fxman for shots (sorry for the serious typo) to help with cheering me up.

I built my Fall Guy truck and after I painted it, I didn't like the brown I chose either. Once that thing gets dirty, you will not notice anymore - you are not building a shelf queen are you? :ror:

The blat black adds a bit detail but more importantly it hides the imperfection of windows cut outs.

Now there is a set of matching wheels front and back, next is to paint them red

Ok i see you change the wheels. Are they still for slash and a scte? If so is it slash 4x4 front or 2wd front

Yes they are both slash wheels, I picked them with ecash for less than $4 shipped from tower hobbies to complete the look. the rear is slash 4x4 the front is slash for pro-track wheel, which is same as Scte.
