Update! It's almost ready to roll.

I had an o sh$t moment. I was missing one of the deck planks. After about 45 minutes I found it behind my workbench. I was seriously releived!

That's all for the moment. Hopefully I can get it hitched up to the dually tomorrow and snap a few pics. Thanks for looking.

Im curious as to which chassis you use and what body you have? Did you do the custom 3 tamiyas? Do you have the specs of the truck and body wheelbase? BTW Totally amazing on how you built that. The only improvement could be narrower rear tires and chevy 3500>JK l0l Thanks for the thread!

GOOD GOD! You could haul a full size car on that thing! That ford gonna have enough hp to pull it? All joking aside absolutely awsome! Cant wait to see it hooked up.

I fabbed the chassis myself...check the link in this thread to my build thread on scale4x4 for details. The body was yes, three crewcabs...but you can easily do it with two. Wheelbase is 16 inches...but I stretched the stock bed by 1 inch or so. The rears are as narrow as I can get with the big tires on those wheels. Check my Banks power dually in the 1.9 section for a build with tucked in tires.

As for the chevy 3500...Stay tuned. I plan on building one...right after the cubs win the world series.:lmao:

If that's a Ford joke...:flipoff: We're going to see. I've got a 55 turn and small pinion, so it should have plenty of torque. My only concern is the suspension effects. I'm sure things will be fine. I should be able to post up some fun pics tomorrow.8)

Hey Bulldog just finished reading up on the scalerc4x4 build and fter a ton of hard work it has payed off obviously. Looking to possibly build one as a summer project with the family. But just had a couple questions regarding what material you used for the front bumper and the rear fender flares and what the length of chassis you built. If you want you can pm me. Thanks "thumbsup"

Sorry I sent you, bulldog, a pm. Sorry for the repost!

A couple pics. This is my tundra build if you haven't seen it. Updates on that are soon to come. Had to mock everything up to get a test fit on the whole effect.

The whole setup isn't as long as it looks. It's only 56"!!!

Everyone needs a flex shot.

This area will have to get cleaned up a bit. It has to be functional, and pretty. I called it done on the shock tower (because you couldn't see it in pics). I tested it yesterday and I'm going to have to beef up the rear shocks.

This should be a good week for building. Stay tuned.

The hot racing shocks are internally sprung, I can add springs and double them up inside. They have three spring rates. I'll have to pull it apart and see what's in there.8)

Another quick update.

I pulled the dually apart to get it ready for it's pulling duties. First I checked the springs in the back and they needed more oomph. I loaded three in each shock. Now it rides like a real f350...stiff as a board!

I'm still going to find a way to make the mount prettier. As it turns out, the height of the trailer's neck is actually pretty low, so this is how I mounted it.

I built some inner fenders today also. I'll post up some pics of those tomorrow. Thanks for looking.8)
