Wondering what the front/rear diff maint. program is for this rig? I race a Losi Pro4 and am familiar with the General maint. of the fluid filled front, mid and rear diffs. of this rig. Not too skilled in the maintenance of a fixed rear axle vehicle. Do you just use a grease type lubricant in the rear pumpkin? Is the front diff. fluid filled and if so what viscosity is most used? How often do y'all change out fluid/grease in each of these? Love this thing, so fun and amazed how it handles without any mods applied to it. Look forward to hearing from all ya experts!

Rear is a fixed locker so no grease, Front has oil i use 500k. Your not gonna have to do much to them until they brake then upgrade to a no slop locker for the rear and a gcm exo/yeti diff for the front. oh yeah hd gears, I use underdrive part #ax30402 for both. :)

How you run your rig will dictate how often you will need to clean and lube. If your running through puddles snow etc. It will need to be done more frequently Like 351Beno said the rear is a fixed locker so there is no maintenance there(if its the same as the Yeti?). But the ring and pinion will need to be greased. The front will need to be filled with a diff fluid. I run 300K in mine and I have been happy with it. seems like guys are running a thicker fluid around the 500K region. And like the rear axle you will need to keep the ring and pinion greased. And you will also need to keep the transmission and transferase lubed as well. Im not to sure on how often it needs to be done? I'm sure someone can chime in. I usually get bored and end up tearing it apart and going through everything for something to do.... As for the type of grease that is needed I use the same grease I use on my 1:1. It seems to work fine for me.
Ohh while your in everything it's a good idea to check the bearings for slop and that they are spinning smoothly!
