Not sure if this is the right place on the forum for this rig, but i just wanted to show off my 2.2 custom tuber a lil bit...
It's a one of a kind handmade frame on built SCX10 axles with RC4WD R2 trans and a Holmes Hobbies 1100 kv revolver outrunner motor, powered my a mamba max and cc bec, and a spektrum dsm2 3100 w/ dx3r... xr10 wheels(narrowed to 1") with axial ripsaw tires...

the wheelbase is a lil long, so imma try n get the front links about a 1/4" shorter, and it really suffers from high COG, with all of that solid steel rod, so imma try a half droop setup on the shocks... speaking of shocks, i left those out in the above paragraph... i was pretty proud of myself when i came up with those, the shock bodys are from the front of a nitro associated sc8, and the springs are the single stage proline powerstroke spring from the scaler shock kit, still waitin on the jeepindoug cups, and then have to modify em to fit the huge associated end rod... fun fun...

lastly, is really needs new wheels, got a set of VP DHI revolvers comin with a bunch of different hubs, so imma widen it up a bit to try n keep it planted on the rocks... if i dont achieve the setup im after, ill probably tear it down and make a FOFF truck out of it, its solid steel, so its practically bulletproof, would probably be a good platform to start with?

Kind of looks like the comp tubers people were running a few years ago. I like it. Not scale (probably better in the AX10 section), but still a good looking comp rig.

ya, i think the reason i kept it out of the ax-10 catagory, is an ax-10 would walk all over this thing, its definately NOT comp capeable, it actually runs and resembles some of the 1:1 tubers ive seen on youtube... it has no wheel speed (10 tooth pinion), and is super top heavy, terrible at side hilling, and even has trouble on descents (does a frontflip if i stop suddenly), so basically, no matter what upgrades i throw at this chassis, a box stock ax-10 or LCC would easily out perform it in every way... but, its so much fun to drive because of the scale speed and weight... i actually have to work for a climb, instead of the usual point and go style with my xr10 based rigs...

new wheels and tires, lower links, M.I.P. driveshafts, and a new hitec 7955 servo... this thing is beast now!!!

This is better suited for the AX10 section. It doesn't matter how capable it is, it's just about the genre it falls into.

ya, i guess ur right(Harley knows best), and now with all these upgrades, it probably could keep up with most shaftys out there...

thanks for re-locating it for me...;-)

from axle tip to axle tip with front wheels straight, and rears straight too if it has rear steering..."thumbsup"

Well I have heard others say that its front axle nut to the rear? LOL.

How come you want to know what it is?
