Curt's Dlux Superlite Berg-ler

15T front and 15T rear.

Wheel speed is your friend Curt.

I think that the pinions required are Robinson Racing part number RRP11XX. The XX is for tooth quantittie.

See what I did there."thumbsup"

Thanks for the pointer! I sacrificed bu getting a heavy a$$ motor so I could have the best of both worlds torque (from cobalt mags) and wheelspeed from the 30t skewed arms!

I imagine that the pinion choice will consist of some serious experimenting.

Nope. I'm talking about this one;-)

Nothing against the SA but I couldnt get berg links for it. So I caught a great deal on some xr10 links and so its going on my spare set of xr axles.

My week off went by waaaaaaay too quickly. Here's an update. All my link and shonk mounts are set same with servo mount thanks to the help of crawler13. I was super nervous about drilling into these delrin tubes and screwing them up so I had him guide me through it a reassure me I was doing it right. Thanks again Geo! Then not two days ago I get my full chassis for John Hall. 1/16th carbon topper with 1/16 aluminum lower. I gained only 1.5g over a carbon lower and it will last way longer from rock grindage. Anyway almost a complete roller now!

Pulled apart my axles to clear all the delrin shaving and mounted my Brood power plants. They're a little bit of a pain to work around because the mags are soooo strong. But they're in. Oh one other thing its really made turning my servo stiff because its pulling on those metal gears here's hoping it doesn't screw stuff up.

Looks great man!

I know youre not done but you know the tie rod needs to be flipped so it rides along the servo mount? It will save a ton of approach angle.

I have a complete roller. Pics coming soon! I have yet to discover what the problem is at some point of putting my motors in my car and something else my steering servo is all locked up. I think the mags in the motor are pulling on something but I don't know what it could be. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

Man, that would be crazy if those magnets in the motor were so strong that it was messing with your brushless motor on your servo!

I suppose you could always lift your servo out of the mount and see if anything changes?

I know sometimes if the servo horn screw is too long (the one that secures the horn to the output gear) that it'll bind it up.

Also, on some servo and horn combos I've had, the spline pocket in the horn is too deep, so bolting it down causes it to literally press tightly against the case causing bind as well.

Ok so I flipped the servo to move its motor away from my conflux mags and it freed up my servo! Now I need a longer drag link.

Got the truck mock wired up. Found some gremlins on of the escs is not receiving a signal. And they will not calibrate. Suggestions?

After a short out on one of my sidewinders ill be throwing in a pair of br minis from Holmes!

On a side note my xr fell into the drink yesterday so after I finished drying out the electronics they went into this rig so I could drive her around. And she works yay. Still needs tuning work but I'll probably take her to the BYB compound on Tuesday!

The car was very driveable; however, the start up wasn't as smooth as I'd like it to be so I'm thinking I may go up in teeth on the pinion. Started with 13T
Also my the shock shafts in the axial icon shafts are a little too long. I'll be looking for shorter ones.
My front upper links are a little too long this will take some adjusting.

Car was still fun to drive.

She drove great tonight! After a quick gear mesh adjustment, a re-calibration, and some expo tuning. Her take off is much smoother.
