Cross-Rc HC4

Like your build. Nice weathering. What smoke unit are you using. The ones i found only smoked for around 5min untill a oil refill is needed.

Just picked one of these up in trade for a Hilux Truggy I had. How in the world did you clear the frame rail to mount the 2 Speed Servo??

any metal gears for this i just picked one up new freshly built and wanted to know how good the plastic gears are in the tranny (never been a fan of plastic gears on crawlers brings back wraith moments of horror )

also any hop ups that will work from other RCs like tranny parts lol (for some reason i have a feeling the plastic gears are going to give me a bad time )

just an FYI for anyone looking into this truck... they do have the metal gears available now and they should be standard with all kits. they are great they hold up just perfect.

cruz1383 where did you find the metal gears? I cked Cross-RC and all I found was a note saying metal gears were an optional part but they were not listed. Tks

HobbyTown in Oshkosh, WI just got a large order of trucks and parts in. He said he has a couple sets of metal gears for the 2 speed.

Is there any way to get the build pics to work again? I want to get this kit but mount it to a scx10-2 chassis. Anyone know if the body will fit an an axial chassis? Locked up rc just came out with some military beadlocks that would fit this body perfectly.
