Nobody was more disappointed than the ones hosting the event. I could of probably of decided to show up at such an event to play/attend in the weather this morning but being one that was having to haul a sh** load of stuff from the car to where the comp was going to be staged and then try to find a dry enough area to set up and sign guys in, it became a no brainer .... specially when it began to sleet/snow at the house around 8:45 this morning... and I only live 10 minutes from Palmer. It was a difficult call but the right call. Those of you who have hosted such an event know where I'm coming from .... those who have NOT, should host one and be sure you make it on a real crappie weather weekend; who knows, I might show up to play. 8)

I dunno about you guys but i had fun today!

i had an ideal, let me know how you fill about this.the team runs ,should involve one rig has to pull a trailer with a raw egg in it, and the other has to help get the load there, from point a to b. a winch and tow rope or two tow ropes are all u kan use to help pull up hill or be the brake man going down. all trailers have to be the same weight and width, and the helper has to use just his rig too move trailer if needed, kan run two classes 2.2 1.9 tracks have too b difrant. or 2.2 has to go faster than the fastest 1.9 time. team members kan only use there rigs to pull or push each other over if a tip happens. please let me know what you think

sounds fun but thats something that may make the park people happy with us leave egg on the rocks like the big rave at P9 that we all saw the aftermath of!

i just thoght that maybe some people may still com out to that spot to just have fun in the area, oh i do hand make rig haulers trailers if any one wood like too look at the one i made for my self, tandom axels very sturdy. it my not look like the nice ones you pay full price for. but if you are on a budget and wood like me to make one foo you lets talk ill do it for half the price of store ones

ok the egg may b much, it was just a thought, i will always pack out what trash i bring in and others as well. i vow to bring at least one king supers food bag, to clean up my play grounds that i love so much too have that should be part of the club guidelines .its all about kids and showing them that picking up after others will make this place we call home beautiful.

So while I was finally reading the newspaper a moment ago I found out that the park officials will be holding a community meeting Wednesday night in the city auditorium from 630 to 8 pm about updating there wat they call master plan for the parks in town I was thinkin a few of us go and put a bug in there ear about changing up there views on rc trucks might help if we even brought a few examples of what we do and bring out. Don't kno just a random thought!
