colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Win or lose, the team event was BY FAR the most fun I have had in the past few years driving RCs!!!!

Thank you Marshall for making us do it and thank you chris for the rock solid partner! I'll do that one again....as long as it's not an 8 hour day - LOL

Great time guys. Loooong day of fun in the sun. Thanks to everyone that helped make this a great day. Good job To everyone that competed and I hope all the new faces enjoyed their first taste of competion crawling. A lot of fun new ideas came together that I'm sure we will keep doing in future comps.

I honestly feel like I have been in a car accident! I HIGHLY recommend you stay on your feel while climbing over rocks - and falling down 4 times.....4 times too many!

Big didos to all the above comments regarding yesterdays great comp! WHAT A BLAST!! We'll fine tune the next event ... need to shorten/tighten it up a little. I will be tabulating the final scores today and post the winners latter.

For all those that competed ... BIG THANKS! Help make the next one better ... if so inclined, please post stating what you liked most with the event and definitely want to see again! Constructive criticism of course is always appreciated.

Great job everybody!"thumbsup"

more cowbell! XD no but the ultra 4 was great even muskrats made a time for the 1.9 class but I think maybe one long 30 gate course a team run and maybe rotate the ultra 4 and king of the hill like every other comp would be a great way to do it. just can't forget the cheesecake!

Those rims look oddly familer! XD from what I have seen of the footage I shot yesterday think I'll have to try something different next time tho I may bounce around with it!

Iam just happy I actually made it the whole comp and could relax knowing aside from dropping 60 bucks on beef tubes I didn't have to tear my rig apart to fix something!

Congrats everyone - lets get another one planned - that was a good time!

I am still king of the hill.....punch that out of me - bitches!!! (since we didn't have the king of the hill yesterday - LOL)

The "Home Wrecker" survived the comp no problem. Tossed a 20t motor in it just to see if it that motor worked liked you would expect it to, since the thing just seemed down on power. Well it sure did! So guess it is time to send my 35t back to HH and have them give it some love. Well anyway I was Jackassing around at work with the new found speed of a 20t on 3s with 20/87 gears :) I ended up snapping the front transmission outdrive  Breakage has a way of ruining the fun. This morning was beautiful so I took the scorpion out for some crawling and busted the aluminum servo horn on it. Hitec 7950 is a monster! So looks like some steel outdrives and a robitronics arm are in my near future.
