colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

As of right now the "soco summer comp" is a go for tomorrow. We will post again in the morning as soon as we can see what the course conditions are if we happen to get rain/snow tonight. Keep your fingers crossed. :)

Upon meeting with the event comity. We have decided to postpone today's comp. until next Sunday due to the weather being unpredictable. They are forecasting spotty showers and high winds all day. We will be moving the event to next Sunday. Same time and place.

Next Sunday is a long way off to accurately predict the weather. For those people that have lived here most of there lives know that it could either clear up and be nice today or we could have snow with a tornado ripping through manitou springs again. ( yes that is a true statement) rather than drag all the stuff needed to throw a fun day of crawling and BBQ we have postponed until next weekend. Hopefully the odds are better for a nicer day next week than wind and rain.

Way to go "keyboard badass" you should try brushing up on your grammer before posting. As for anyone wanting to stir the pot with drama/bs comments and be affiliated with either group you can go pound sand. Have a good day...

Understood. You just came off pretty strong with your very first post to the forum. Soco rc crawlers is a family oriented club. We take a lot of time and our personal money to throw events that promote our hobby and when we cancel a comp it is no small decision. The first question we ask is " would I take a small child out in this weather" and the answer this morning at the time of the decision was no. Everyone please understand that we have members in our club from 2 1/2 to 60 something. So as one person may be a member of the polar bear club? Others may not. So we apologize for any inconvenience the weather may have caused to anyone today. Hopefully she wants to come out and play next Sunday.
