colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Just moved here from missouri and my two boys and i all have crawlers they are 5 and 10 and we live in canon city and we hike and crawl around here but would love to join a group. Are they too young? They have losi night crawlers with scale bodies and i have a wraith. Please let us know. I work in the springs but dont know anybody in the hobby and am not familiar with the area. Thanks chris

Lol But only a big tip will make her drip! Lol Welcome Chris. Came in at a weird time. We have kids that roll with us who are younger than that. I think you should be fine honestly.
 
Sounds good just let us know when and where you meet at. As stated not real familiar with area. The guys at hobby town said palmer park so we drove by there last weekend. Had our bikes and not our crawlers. We were bummed. Looked like a good place.
 
Palmer park is amazing. One of my favorite spots. Basically we go out every Sunday around ten or so. As long as you kind of keep a eye on here or on the Facebook page it will let you know where we are going.

Also looking for a scx10 roller or something fairly cheap for my 10 year old that is a lil faster than his losi. Its not very good on trail runs, they turn into trail walks lol. Let me know if anyone has one for sale cheap. Thanks chris.
 
Sounds good. If anyone has a trail truck for sale please let me know. I have cash or may do a trade for a nightcrawler plus cash. Son just wants something faster for a trail truck. Thanks chris
 
Welcome to you and your boys!! My son is 2 1/2 and he has his own Honcho, drives the heck out of it! I go at his pace, and sometimes, his pace is faster than mine! LOL! Few other guys have 5 yr olds that come out as well. I'm sure your boys will be fine.

I have a spare Ridgecrest I could bring sunday and let the little guys kick around to see if they like it. I MAY entertain a trade so I can get my little guy a crawler of his own.
