Personally I think the last place we had the comp was great. Flat area for a tugowar plenty of lines for multipurpose trails and a Kik butt hill. For the king of the hill comp. plenty of parking with a pic nic table. I can bring a 12x12 canopy and four tables and some chairs. We could do one trail at crawlers paradise and one at devils playground?

Sounds good. Parking on the road if need be wouldn't hurt either. If this lady ever calls back, I'll see how hard it will be to make that our event area for a day and night stage if we want to have one. Remember, it will be dark around 5 so it won't last too late for a night stage

Yeah. Might want to start the event at ten. Might be too cold for the little ones for a nightcrawl. Maybe we could plan a freestyle night crawl for those who might want to stick around after the event?

Ive messaged rpp talked to corey and he sent me the support email address to talkt to them about saying how were throwing up this event to help kids and maybe they can share our pics and if they will send us a banner to throw up so it looks like we have sponsors gonna email a few more sites to about it

You are all on the right track. Entry fee is Toy per person per Rig - 1 person + 2 rigs = 2 toy entry fee. If you show up without a rig, you are simply there for fun and not eligible for trophies or prizes. HOWEVER, there will not be prizes to give out for winners of anything....at this point. I just dont have the money to buy trophies or prizes. So, its all out bragging rights for the win. Categories to be determined at some point. I'm new and have never been to a G6 event so I only know what you guys showed me last month at our G6.
Well, we could take "DONATIONS" (NOT FOR PROFIT) and that will help pay for any expense we may incur OR we can run down to Hobby Town and grab a few RC related DOOR PRIZES with said donations to use in a raffle if we so desire. I would love nothing more than to have something to hand out for participants. I have 1 shirt from Atomic RC - thats it.

I want to contact "Parker" and hopefully get some "G6" stickers to give to everyone who enters. I'll try to contact my POC at Axial to see if he will send us some more "promotional items", stickers and such. If anyone has ANY POCs they can contact to ask for "Stuff" that would be SWEET! Heck, maybe Hobby Town will help us a TINY bit....I'll talk to Joe.
Can we possibly make like 6-8 wood trophies and come up with a reason to give them out? Something Tacky and build with your eyes closed. Best in show, heaviest rig, most duct tape, Most HOG penaties, things like that....I want everyone to have fun and give them a reason to stick around for the whole thing.
I was thinking about a RECON trail or 2, sled pull, tug of war and even an obstacle course at the staging area....maybe.
Do we want to have "Driver challenges" along the route? - 2 maybe 3 at most
WOW, I'm sleepy - i need to stop typing.....OH YEA - FLYERS....ANYONE wanna make a digital flyer so we can post it all over the web and Gods green earth?!

I got a set of yellow wraith panels that can go up for a prize there just collecting dust here and with my wraith goin under the knife for a new heart and a few other things the poison spider may be my rig this week end till I get my other fixed

Ideas for prize categories: best entry fee (toy). Worst truck in show (jk its all about the busted Porsche). Worst break of the day/most breaks. I like off comp trophies to keep it more fun then competitive.

That's sparks a good idea. Trophies for fun not related to the actual comp. And the comp winners get the prizes.

I have a few companies willing to help us out....ok, we get to hang one of their banners for advertisement....that's about it. Maybe a little more . Cool thing, they like the idea and want to help out.
Still waiting to hear from parks and recreation to make sure we aren't breaking any rules or laws but that's the only thing keeping us from publishing the official notice.

Nothing definitive just yet - still planning. Shooting for 14 Dec so we will have time to donate for Christmas. no need for a micro - this will be an outside event. Brrrrrrr!
