colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Hopfully soon ill get the losi fixed ordering a whole new brushless esc for it when i have some extra pennies. Also got the mobile video available so check out the mini moab video
 
So I am thinking about running a droop setup on another rig I am getting ready to pickup (don't judge me it'll be #12 in my garage) and I got some internal spring shocks (Thanks arbitris! ) now my question is can I run em with no springs and get the droop so I can get the full articulation or should I look at getting some super soft springs to go inside it's Goin to be a crawler only poison spider wraith stock for the most part it's been a shelf queen since the guy got it. Any suggestions?

The soco platform for the track went up faster than I thought. It's ready to design the jumps and berms. Testing it out now.

So next Friday night if anyone with a 1/24th scale stadium/rally car wants to come over and help build jumps and berms and test them out? Throw me a shout . That would be awesome. I have 2 nice tickets for the Air Force/UNLV foot ball name Thursday night . If anyone is interested, I'll make a trade with ya. PM if interested. They are in the 20 yard line and I forget the row number but I'll get that later.
 
Did some research for the Toys for Tots today. Still interested in using SOCO rc crawlers as a launch platform. Curious if I should continue to organizing an RC event to benefit Toys for Tots or if I should let this die on the vine. Do I have the support of the group?

Need to set a date before Christmas and get the flyers up and the invites out to the other groups. Do we want to host it at Palmer park or RR canyon open space?

I'm thinking the 14th of December, give us time to get the toys turned into TFT

To have a "event" at Palmer Park someone will have to go talk with the city about that. Just saying cause with our little group it's not a big deal..now if other groups come down it'll be 20+ cars and 45+ people. I'm not saying don't do it..but there may be some hurdles to jump thru to get Palmer. But, if we get the go ahead the people will come for sure. ...my $.02

Found my driveshafts were still binding sunday since i noticed it wasnt crawling as smooth and seemed jumpy due to having the Y link too tight buy think i got her fixed now. She flexes a bit better now to :)
