colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

I dont need anything specific, I just look for stuff I can use at some point or another.

Ok, so I ordered up an 1/24 scale losi stadium truck. For project " soco stadium short course". There is no difference between the stadium truck and rally cars except the bodies and tires,bumpers. Mini-eight is slightly different. Two kinds of 1/24 trucks you can purchase for 109 bucks you can buy a basic truck or for 149 you can bump up to brushless, both are RTR. Great stocking stuffer. So I should have most of the wood by Friday for the platform system. I have a basic design of how the platform lays out in my basement. And a couple ideas for track layout. As soon as the platform is finished we will throw our first soco club meeting at my house so I can get some ideas and hopefully some volunteers in the track production. Also gonna have enough room in the center of the track for a 1/24 scale trail for crawlers. Gonna be a big project, but I think in the end it will give us something else to throw in the mix when it's cold and snowing outside.

I like the idea of bringing the parts and having a mini swap meet. I know I have a handful of stuff I'm ready to let go. I even posted my Tamiya on Craigslist (a little high, most people that contact off of craigslist always seem to offer half what it's listed at)

Also the basement course sounds like it's going to be pretty awesome! When were you wanting to have people over?

I have a bunch of rocks for the mini crawling area (posted a photo a few days ago). I can't keep up with the amount of toys I want... But buying a house is coming first. Its an awesome idea!
