colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Hmmm. 4 sheets of plywood would make a pretty nice 8x16 foot track. Maybe a wall berm. A table top jump with whoops. Case a beer and some help from some buddies and we could have a little short course

Is it the cms level 3? The scx10 kit i got that was cms level is a pile of crap, joe has the same one i do and he hates it to.
 
I love the idea of a 1/24 scale basement track, I more than game to help build, and if the riming is right, bring beer too. I'm also game for racing/testing.
Anybody looking at the losi minis make sure you pick the right one, brushed run $110 brushless run $150.

I'll also say I am not happy with the geometry on my cms, it binds instead of flexing.

Also the new hot racing wheel broke on its maiden voyage, and the tires that came mounted are separating, like the outer paper thin layer is peeling off the tire treads. Yes I was rough on them, yes I expect them to take the amount of abuse I deliver. For reference, the stock axial parts have taken 10X the abuse without failing.

I need to find a new body to trim paint and mount if I'm going to male it out next week, I'm not really confident on that one.
 
Had a blast today guys, many thanks!! I started giving my rig a "once over" and found all the stock course thread screws I never replaced! WOW! How did I forget to do that!?! Ended up tearing te entire drive train down just to see how everything looked. Gears are a little worn and the bearings were dirty but all in all, very impressed!

Think I took a worse beating than my truck. LOVE IT!!
 
I had a blast too! And also tore down my rig to bare frame rails.

You should buy upgrades! Just so you can sell your perfectly functionally parts really cheap. Or if you really do t need them, then I guess I would vote for a generic version of the gopro for a fraction of full price.

I'm a big fan of dealing with companies/people that make life easier. As such I'm publicly sharing positive feedback. (Usually people only voice their opinion when it's negative)

I bought a brushless 1/24 rally car a couple weeks ago and it pauses between forward/reverse. Today I finally called, I was on hold for less than a minute, then a tech asked for my shipping address and told me a new board/esc is being shipped out today for me!

Ok...so me and Tater had a little chat about making seats. I'm gonna try and keep this lightweight as possible. I had problems with the last setup using wraith seats and the driver. Well I killed scale points and looked awesome so I had to find a solution.



Fatty Seat outta wraith...

Both fatty seats with chunky driver...


Boom...lightweight seat



Fixing to make passenger seat and maybe a kid car seat .....winning!"thumbsup"

No no..got one kid and nothing in the oven. Take it easy on my driver..He's a doctor, what if Duke accidentally smokes a cigar laced with PCP or something really bad. LOL
