Let's just say after today's comp I hope they -dont- post the results.

And I'm putting a non scale looking Porsche body and basher gearing in my rig for a week or two.
With all my extras, body pieces and full interior I still had less scale points than about everybody else.

Well I apologize you guys did not like the comp. Looking at the scores a lot of people finished courses and everyone I judged was smiling and having a good time! I have gone to competitions all over the US and those courses were actually very tame compared to competing at a national level.

Again I apologize you did not have fun.

Don't get it wrong man. Maybe a misunderstanding on my part. I was thinking more scale than anything. It was my first comp so maybe I was way off on my expectations. I had a blast. Just a different mindset I think.

I agree with mutant. I figured more of a trail run with some technical areas. Not a full blown comp. I had a good time just was not at all what I was expecting.

It wasnt a bad event its just the misleading when it says a "scale" comp so i though it was a trail run like how we all run in the springs the couse seemed poorley set up to me.

com·pe·ti·tion (kmp-tshn)
n.
1. The act of competing, as for profit or a prize; rivalry.
2. A test of skill or ability;

Just saying "thumbsup"

This was the first comp for several of us. I think we were expecting a "fun" (easier) get together when we showed up for a technical competition.
Basically I believe we had a misunderstanding, and understand what a comp is for future reference.

I understand the possible misunderstanding and encourage all of you to voice your questions and concerns in a constructive and positive manner. The Crawl Space is dedicated to good times with rc trucks with good people. If this event wasn't your bag, I understand,we have a couple different event formats we host throughout the year that maybe more toward other people's liking.

We are here to provide for the crawler and scaling community of Colorado and our inbox is always open for questions, comments or concerns

I think we were thrown off by the "scale" part. Was still an experience just didnt expect it to be as extreme as it was.

Thanks for understanding. I'm sure we all still had a great time. A great learning experience for sure. "thumbsup"

As was said by a few others it was my first comp for one but I quickly realized that it was way outa my league. Think ill just stick to trail runs in the springs from now on.... the only course I tried was nearly impossible even for the better sett up modifieds so yeh.:banghead:

sent from my 5th scale
