According to the current Class 3 rules in Sorrca, it seems it would be nearly impossible to meet the inside the tires width requirement.

• The distance between the inside of the tires (of any axle) can
be no greater than 1.25" more than the width of
the body at the doors.
• *Example* (7" inside-of-tire to inside-of-tire = body must be
5.75" wide)

The Capra chassis is 5 - 3/8" wide at most and I feel like that's being generous. So inside the tires width can be no more than 6 - 5/8". Even with .225 hubs on the average wheel it seems like it'd be impossible to get that narrow.

The chassis is 5 5/8" wide, the rockers are wider than the door sills.

With 4.7" proline krawlers on 1" CI 6 bolts and .350 hubs I'm 6 5/8" wide. Most any 2.2 tire should make it even easier to remain legal.

Giant 2.2 hyraxs that narrow must look ridiculous lol.

These are 2.2 berserkers with .350 hubs and my inside the tire dimension is 7.125". In my opinion any narrower wouldn't look right.

Thanx for the pics of the new 2.2 berserks, been wanting to see how they look on this style rig!!!

What you think of the compound? Think they will hang with some of the others out there like rock beasts, pl swampers or hyraxes?

So does this mean I could pilfer the Bomber driveline, build a body so my Capra resembles a SCB, adding 1-3/16 per side, at the doors, and dominate the class? Scoring, lowest wins, right? All metal stuff for bonus points, if I read the rules correctly? Any compers to shine light on this?

Really liking the looks of those tires on there."thumbsup"
May have to reconsider my wheel/tire choice eventually.

Thanks. I haven't had time to drive it yet but the compound feels like they are going to work well. I've actually got ottsix 1.9 triple stage foams in them and they feel surprisingly good, no air gap.
